Should Mariah be insulted at the re-gift, or happy that she's hooking up with such a thrifty guy?

Tom Cruise in talks for M:I4

Sources close to Tom Cruise have told Access Hollywood the actor is in talks with Paramount about making Mission: Impossible 4. Paramount produced all of the prior Mission: Impossible films.

Cruise played super agent Ethan Hunt in the first Mission: Impossible film in 1996, and it grossed $467 million worldwide in the box office. 2000's Mission: Impossible 2 yielded $545 million at the global box office, and 2006's "Mission: Impossible 3 had $395 million in ticket sales.

Although Cruise and Sumner Redstone, the CEO of Paramount, had a public dispute in 2006 when the studio ended its relationship with Cruise's production company following the actor's fall from grace, the two have reportedly been seen in Los Angeles restaurants together.

In other Cruise news, 61-year-old singer Cher revealed to Oprah that she had a relationship with the actor earlier in his career. In the taped interview, to be aired on The Oprah Winfrey Show next week, Cher said she dated Cruise when he was 23-years-old and an emerging star.

She said Cruise was finding life in the spotlight difficult and that it could have been a "great big romance because I was crazy for him."

"He was shy," she said in an excerpt of the interview published by Sky News. "He said he felt like such a boob in school and nobody talked to him. We went on a date once for dinner in a New York restaurant and the waitress was from his old school."

"He told me she never talked to him back in school, but now he was recognized he got all her attention," Cher said.

Her fling with the now 45-year-old actor is believed to have ended when he met first wife Mimi Rogers.

Tom Cruise's appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show to commemorate the 25-year anniversary of his breakout film Risky Business have already been taped, a source close to production told the Associated Press Wednesday. The two-part interview includes a snowmobile ride, a frank discussion of his media image and candid talk about his personal life.

"In his 25 years in the business, Tom Cruise has become the epitome of a true Hollywood star," Warner Home Video senior vice president and general manager Jeff Baker said in a statement Wednesday. "We are very proud of this timeless classic and the film that became his breakthrough role."

Is Mariah Carey engaged?

A source close to Mariah Carey told Access Hollywood that the diva is engaged to singer-actor Nick Cannon. Although reps for the couple were not available for comment, rumors about an engagement have been circulating awhile.

At an after party for her Tribeca film "Tennessee" in New York, Carey, 38, worse a new bauble on her ring finger. People asked Cannon what he loved about Mariah, and his reply was "everything"... but Carey has said that she is only in love with one man - her dog!

The two were also spotted at New York's Tenjune nightclub Saturday night.

"Mariah and Nick looked really cozy. They were cuddling and made sure they held hands all night," an onlooker reported. "Mariah looked really proud to be there with Nick, and he seemed to be having a great time."

Both Cannon and Carey were recently in serious relationships. Cannon was engaged to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007, but the two ended their relationship the same year. Carey had been seeing music executive Mark Sudack recently, although she never confirmed the relationship.

If the rumors are true, it will be the first marriage for Cannon and the second for Carey. She was married to her record executive, Tommy Mottola, from 1993-1998.

Paula gets confused again on Idol

Paula Abdul seemed very confused on last night's episode of American Idol. Each contestant sang twice, but after everyone sang their first time, host Ryan Seacrest asked for the judges' comments.

Abdul gave comments to contestant Jason Castro, critiquing his first song, then his second - even though he only sang once!

"Oh my God, I thought you sang twice," Abdul said when judge Randy Jackson informed her of the mistake. "You know what? This is hard!" Simon Cowell also tried to save her, repeatedly asking who was her favorite.

Afterwards Abdul said she was thrown a "curveball" and was "confused," resulting in an "honest mistake."

"In seven years we've never had to do that," Abdul told Seacrest about the judging. "We were only following directions."

Although audience members were laughing, Seacrest did try to minimize any embarrassment. "Paula, you’re seeing the future, baby. You're seeing the future," he said.

Amy Winehouse to sing Bond theme song?

Amy Winehouse, the multi-Grammy Award winning British singer, is back in the studio and is reportedly recording the theme song for the new James Bond movie which is set to be out in theaters this November.

Although Winehouse has been working with Mark Ronson to produce a new song, according to the spokespeople for her record label, the work on a soundtrack for the film is only speculation.

However, Ronson reveled to a magazine that he has been laying a new track entitled “Quantum of Solace” for the latest bond installment, but claims that there is no guarantee that their song would actually be featured in the movie.

Soundgarden’s former front man Chris Cornell recorded the theme song for “Casino Royale” the last Bond film which was released inn 2006.

According to Access Hollywood, the police found a car parked on the wrong side of the road where it was assumed the driver was sleeping inside. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer discovered Dourdan “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.”

A search of the car revealed various drugs including: cocaine, Ecstasy, and heroin. The actor was jailed for five hours before he was released on a $5,000 bail.

At the beginning of April, it was reported that Dourdan will not be returning to CSI once his contract with CBS expires in May.

The two-story inflatable pig belonging to former Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters’ was lost on Sunday night during his Coachella performance. The organizers of the acclaimed California music festival are offering a $10,000 award and four life-long festival tickets for its return.

The pig, which has been a feature stage prop for Pink Floyd since their single “Pig on the Wing,” floated away during Waters’ closing set. The pig was lost once before in 1977 during a photo shoot in London, but was later recovered for their “Animals” album cover.

The lost Coachella pig, which is not actually the original but merely a prototype of past pigs, features the slogan “Don’t be led to the slaughter” along with a cartoon of Uncle Sam holding meat cleavers. The flip side says “Fear builds walls” and has a checked-off ballot for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Search teams have been put together to locate the pig, and concerned festival goers are asked to email lostpig+coachella.com with any information on its whereabouts.

Roger Clemens may have had an affair with Mindy McCready

Roger Clemens, the forty-five-year-old major league baseball player, has denied rumors concerning the ten-year affair he allegedly engaged in with country music star Mindy McCready.

Although the former Red Sox pitcher confirms that he has a relationship with McCready, he claims that is was not an inappropriate one. According to The Daily News, Clemen’s lawyer reported that Roger “considered her a close family friend,” and that he “has never had a sexual relationship with her."

The supposed affair began when the singer was fifteen and while Clemens was a twenty-eight-year-old father of two, and details of their relationship could potentially come out during McCready’s upcoming projects which include a documentary about her life and a reality TV show.

The Daily News sited several anonymous sources and claimed that, even after ending their affair, Clemens was still involved with McCready’s life and helped her through her self-destructive relationships with other men, as well as through her financial troubles.

This information could prove damaging to Clemens lawsuit against his former trainer Brian McNamee, because Roger’s case is based partially on his character, which will most likely become tarnished in light of a scandal involving an extra-marital affair with a minor.

Additionally, the rumors of the affair have caused Clemens to be under investigation for perjury during his testimony to Congress.

The WB Network is Coming Back as a Website

The Warner Bros. Television Group is bringing the WB network back as an online video site that will feature original programming as well as re-runs of WB classics such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

The WB.com is supposed to target viewers between the age of 16 and 34, and the launch of the website is an attempt to attract the attention of younger viewers who, in the digital age, spread their time between watching television shows as they air, and catching the programs streamed online at their leisure.

For example, The CW’s Gossip Girl found a following online, but failed to pull in ratings for the Network, causing the WB/UPN merger to quit streaming the show’s latest episodes over the Internet. Warner Brother’s new website will attack the issue form the opposite direction.

Producer Josh Schwartz, the writer for The O.C. and Gossip Girl, will be creating a new show for the WB.com, and according to a statement form Warner Brothers, Schwartz’s program "takes viewers to the front of the line and behind the soundboard of a fictional Hollywood rock club."

One such is Oscar-nominated actress Angela Bassett, who will be making her first appearance on both the series and the small screen.

"Bassett will play a tough attending with a troubled past who's coming back to Chicago after a few years in Indonesia doing tsunami relief," the Hollywood Reported noted. "Her arrival in the second episode next season promises to shake County General's ER to the core."

The 49-year-old will make her entrance on the second episode of the season.

Original cast member Noah Wyle will also be returning to the show, joining current cast members John Stamos, Maura Tierney, Parminder Nagra, Linda Cardinelli, Gloria Reuben, Mekhi Phifer and Goran Visnjic.

Baby Mama's Amy Poehler expecting real baby

Fiction is turning to reality for 'Baby Mama' star Amy Poehler. The comedian, who stars in the film with former-SNLer Tina Fey, is reportedly expecting her first child in the fall with husband Will Arnett.

But the 36-year-old has another reason to celebrate. 'Baby Mama' was the top box office draw of the weekend, taking in $18.3 million in ticket sales.

The number two spot was taken by "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" with $14.6 million. In third was the former No. 1, Jackie Chan and Jet Li's kung fu movie, "The Forbidden Kingdom," with $11.2 million. In fourth place with $11 million in ticket sales was another comedy, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

"Comedy is definitely king right now," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of tracking firm Media By Numbers LLC. "Audiences are definitely showing an interest in going to the movies and having a good time and having a laugh."

Country singer invovled with the murder of former SNLers father

It's like something straight out of a country song. Man gets drunk, gets into fight, gets him with a pocket knife, friend dies.

That's allegedly what happened to famous country songwriter Richard Fagan, who was just nabbed by Nashville cops for murdering friend and roommate Gaetano Thomas Oteri, and admitted to stabbing him with his pocket knife- and then later got picked up for a DUI after taking a few shots. Fagan's roommate just happens to be ex-SNL star Cheri Oteri's father. Oteri is famous for many of her skits, ones of them being "Spartan Fever" as well as her "Simma Down" skit.

Fagan wrote such country classics as "Be My Baby Tonight," "Sold," and "I Miss You a Little."

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Oteri family

Miley Cyrus embarrassed by sexy magazine spread

Miley Cyrus has had her fair share of sexy photo scandals - but this one is definitely for real!

The 15-year-old teen queen appears in the June issue of Vanity Fair in poses that make her appear naked. One photo in the spread, shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz, shows the Hannah Montana star topless and wrapped in what looks like a satin bedsheet.

In the article by Bruce Handy, Cyrus said, "Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought it was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Annie... I think [the photo is] really artsy. It wasn’t in a skanky way."

But she had a completely different view Sunday. "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," the singer-actress told E! in a prepared statement. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."

The Disney Channel also defended its cash cow, telling E! News "a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."

Vanity Fair spokeswoman Beth Kseniak defended both the magazine and its photographer: "Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."

Parents expressed their outrage this weekend after "Entertainment Tonight" showed commercials promoting a Monday story - that Cyrus posed topless (but with her chest covered) for Leibovitz and Vanity Fair.

"Parents should be extremely concerned," said Lin Burress of Telling it Like It Is, a marriage and parenting blog, during an interview. "Very young girls look up to Miley Cyrus as a role model."

Numerous news reports have speculated that the photo spread could cause permanent damage to the franchise built around Disney's Hannah Montana.

"For Miley Cyrus to be a 'good girl is now a business decision for her," Gary Marsh, president of entertainment for Disney Channel Worldwide, said in last week's Portfolio magazine. "Parents have invested in her a godliness. If she violates that trust, she won't get it back."

NFL Draft - Top 10 Picks

The Miami Dolphins selection of Jake Long as the number one draft pick came as no surprise to many NFL followers. The Dolphins had signed the offensive tackle on Tuesday. But the rest of the first round had some unexpected moments, particularly due to the numerous trades made.

One of the most interesting was the Baltimore Ravens decision to trade twice, eventually settling for University of Delaware quarterback Joe Flacco, the number 18 pick.

"We decided it was time to pull the trigger on the quarterback that we felt like was the guy to lead our team into the future," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said.

Other surprises included the New England Patriots selecting linebacker Jerod Mayo over its choice of cornerbacks and Atlanta trading back into the first round to take projected second-rounder offensive tackle Sam Baker.

The top ten is as follows. For a complete list of draft picks, visit ESPN's 2008 NFL Draft page.

1. Dolphins, Jake Long, OT, Michigan.
2. Rams, Chris Long, DE, Virginia.
3. Falcons, Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College.
4. Raiders, Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas.
5. Chiefs, Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU.
6. Jets, Vernon Gholston, LB, Ohio State.
7. Saints (from 49ers via Patriots), Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC.
8. Jaguars (from Ravens), Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida.
9. Bengals, Keith Rivers, LB, USC.
10. Patriots (from Saints), Jerod Mayo, LB, Tennessee.

Obama declines Clinton challenge

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama declined a challenge from Hillary Rodham Clinton to debate without a moderator prior to the May 6 primaries in North Carolina and Indiana.

"I'm not ducking. We've had 21 [debates]," Obama told Fox News Sunday.

"For two weeks, two big states, we want to make sure we're talking to as many voters on the ground, taking questions from voters," he added. "We're not going to have debates between now and Indiana."

Clinton, who is trailing in delegates and the popular vote, has been pressuring Obama to increase the number of debates before the upcoming primaries. She spent Sunday campaigning in North Carolina while Obama took a break from the campaign trail and returned to his Chicago home.

In other political news, a new Democratic Party ad opposing Republican candidate John McCain will be released Monday. It depicts the Arizona senator as a future president who will keep troops in Iraq for 100 years, and is part of a half-million dollar, three-week national cable television campaign that attempts to link McCain's policies to those of President George W. Bush.

McCain also derided Obama for opposing his idea a summer "gas-tax holiday," which McCain believes will help low-income people save on fuel costs.

"I noticed again today that Senator Obama repeated his opposition to giving low-income Americans a tax break, a little bit of relief so they can travel a little further and a little longer, and maybe have a little bit of money left over to enjoy some other things in their lives," McCain said. "Obviously Senator Obama does not understand that this would be a nice thing for Americans, and the special interests should not be dictating this policy."

GLAAD Award Winners

"Ugly Betty" and "Brothers & Sisters" were repeat winners at Saturday's 19th annual Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards held at Kodak Theatre.

According to GLAAD, the awards "recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives."

The two ABC shows received awards for outstanding drama and comedy series, respectively - the same awards they won last year.

On "Ugly Betty," Michael Urie plays the flamboyantly gay assistant Marc St. James, and Rebecca Romijn portrays the transsexual magazine editor Alexis Meade. Matthew Rhys plays Kevin on "Brothers & Sisters," a member of the family who happens to be gay and whose dating life is a frequent subject on the show.

Singer and musician Rufus Wainwright was also honored for making a difference in promoting equal rights for the LGBT community.

"I'd like to thank GLAAD so much for allowing the world to see us as we are – as human beings – and to fight for us when we are being defamed and maligned," Wainwright said in his acceptance speech. "And also to allow gay people, who think that everything's fine, to actually realize that it's not, and that there is a lot of work to do."

7-year-old charged with grand theft auto

A seven-year-old Florida boy was uninjured after stealing his grandmother's SUV and going for an eight-minute joyride - leaving a path of destruction in his wake - in a Palm Beach Gardens neighborhood Friday.

The unidentified boy reportedly ran into parked cars, mailboxes and signposts. According to police, the boy stopped after a collision with a sign caused the right front wheel to fall off.

Police spokeswoman Ellen Lovejoy said it is unlikely that the boy will be prosecuted. He was arrested so he can get help, as his adventure was "unusual behavior for a seven-year-old," she added.

The child's mother said her son grabbed the keys, backed the Dodge Durango out of the driveway, and took off... perhaps taking the auto maker's slogan to "grab life by the horns" a bit too seriously.

"When [the grandmother] came in, she saw the keys were gone," Lovejoy said. "Her car was gone too."

Fortunately, no one else was injured during the spree.

Amy Winehouse released from custody

The "Rehab" singer was released from Holborn police station after initially being declared "in no fit state" for an interview.

The British songstress had voluntarily turned herself in around 5 p.m. Friday after a man filed a report claiming Winehouse "headbutted" him outside a London pub April 23 when he tried to get her a cab.

A police spokesman told People that after a doctor decided Winehouse was not fit for an interview, she spent the night in the police station. The doctor gave the okay Saturday morning for the singer to be questioned.

"A 24-year-old woman today received a caution for common assault and has been released from custody," the police spokesman said, not releasing Winehouse's name because she was not charged with a crime.

According to MSNBC, a caution means that although Winehouse was not charged, the assault will remain on her record and could count against her if she ever faces similar charges in the future.

Winehouse spokesman Chris Goodman released a statement that said the singer "admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution."

"Amy was fully cooperative with inquiries and apologized for the incident," the statement said. "She thanks the police for their professional handling of the matter."

IRS - Rebates - Refunds - Stimulus Package Checks

The IRS announced that tax rebate checks will be issued according to a schedule that’s based on the last two-digits of your Social Security number.

For married couples filing a joint return, the last two digits in the first Social Security number listed on the return will be used to determine when the rebate will be sent.

The earliest round of rebates will go out around May 2 and most of the money should be out by mid-July. More than one-third of the rebate money is expected to hit bank accounts and some mailboxes in May.
You must have filed your 2007 federal income tax return to be eligible the rebate check!

Most single people will get $600.00, most married couples will get $1200.00, plus $300.00 for every child under age 17.
(some taxpayers may get less)

If you filed your 2007 taxes on time and used direct your refund should be direct deposited as follows:

May 2 if the last two digits of your Social Security number are 00-20.
May 9th if the last two digits are 21-75
May 16th if the last two digits are 76-99

But if you do not use direct deposit to get your federal income tax refund – or you are paying taxes owed when you file that 2007 return – you’re going to get your tax rebate check later. The rollout times are more complicated, too.

If your last two digits of your Social Security number are 00-09, you could expect that rebate check to be mailed by May 16.

May 23 if the last two digits are 10-18.
May 30 if the digits are 19-25.
June 6 if the digits are 26-38.
June 13 if the digits are 39-51.
June 20 if the digits are 52-63.
June 27 if the digits are 64-75.
July 4 if the digits are 76-87.
July 11 if the digits are 88 -99 or if you owed money and sent a check.

If you are in a formal repayment plan for a student loan or IRS tax bill, you’ll probably get the stimulus check.

You may not get your hands on the stimulus money if you have outstanding tax bills, late child-support payments or late student loans. (The IRS will tell you if your check has been applied directly to other back-taxes or delinquent debts.)

The money is a "rebate", even if you did not actually owe any taxes or got a refund already.
If you were listed as a dependent in 2007, you will not get a rebate check.
Late filers MAY qualify for a stimulus payment this year, BUT the IRS requires you must file a tax return by Oct. 15.

See www.irs.gov for more information and the "stimulus calculator."

We're using ours to pay off a credit card, you can use yours for the same, a new TV, a vacation (preferably in the USA), or any other legal purpose! Happy Spending!

Donny & Marie Osmond reunite in Las Vegas

Siblings Donny and Marie Osmond will reunite for a Las Vegas variety show beginning Sept. 9.

The stars of the former "Donny & Marie" variety show will perform Tuesday-Saturday for 26 weeks at the Flamingo Las Vegas hotel and casino. According to a hotel official, the 90-minute performances will be spread over an 8-month period.

The show is being billed as "a greatest-hits multimedia spectacle on a custom stage with multiple video screens and a cast of dancers," according to the AP. Tickets go on sale Monday and range in price from $85-$115.

"My version of a variety show has been what Vegas has known thus far," said comedian and impressionist Danny Gans, a Las Vegas mainstay who will co-present the show with Chip Lightman of GansLight Entertainment. "What we have now is a true variety show which conveys the real essence of America and the country's love of homegrown talent."

The Osmonds are no strangers to the Las Vegas stage. In the 1970s, the entire musical family shared a marquee with Elvis Presley at the Old International hotel, now the Las Vegas Hilton.

"Donny and Marie are timeless entertainers and cultural icons," said Don Marrandino, president of the Flamingo Las Vegas.

Toni Braxton was the latest act at the Flamingo. "Toni Braxton: Revealed" was set to end a two-year run in August, but went on hiatus after the singer was hospitalized for chest pain April 7. She is scheduled to resume May 6.

Hilary Duff on 90210

According to reports, singer-actress Hilary Duff has been offered a starring role on The CW's new spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210.

The 20-year-old would play Annie, a theater actress who struggles to fit in since her father is the principal of Beverly Hills High.

Duff would join castmembers Dustin Milligan, Nip/Tuck's AnnaLynne McCord, and possibly even original Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Jennie Garth.

Amy Winehouse arrested for assault.

British singer Amy Winehouse was arrested for allegedly assaulting a man outside of a London pub April 23.

The troubled star voluntarily went to a London police station Friday to answer questions about the incident. In accordance with British policy, the songstress was arrested before being charged with a crime.

"I can confirm that a 24-year-old woman has been arrested by appointment at a central London police station and is currently in custody," a Scotland Yard spokesman told People.

The British paper The Sun reported details on the altercation. A 38-year-old man filed a report claiming Winehouse "headbutted" him after he tried to hail her a cab at 3:20 a.m. on April 23.

"[The accuser] said she was a snarling tigress," a source told the paper. "It's said she caused a serious amount of damage."

The Sun also reported that Winehouse smoked drugs on the street and punched another man in the face after he refused to give up his pool table.

"I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard," said the 37-year-old Moroccan musician who Winehouse punched. "I could not hit back — she's a woman."

According to another witness: "She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables. Amy screamed, 'I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs.'"

The Sun is also reporting that if Winehouse is convicted of assault, she could face up to six months behind bars and a £2,000 fine, which is equal to approximately $3,800.

Nick Lachey to host HSM reality show

Nick Lachey, the thirty-four-year-old former 98 degrees member, is set to host ABC’s upcoming reality show “High School Musical: Summer Session.”

The program, which is based loosely on the Disney Channel Movie series that stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale, begins Sunday July 20th and runs until mid-September. The contestants are going to range from 16-22 and open casting calls will take place in the coming weeks.

The winner will “receive the opportunity of a lifetime, becoming a part of ‘High School Musical’ history.” Whatever that means.

Jimmy Fallon to Replace Conan O’Brien

Several reports have claimed that Jimmy Fallon signed a deal with NBC on Thursday to replace Conan O’Brien as the host of their “Late Night” program.

O’Brien is supposed to take over Jay Leno’s time-slot on the “Tonight Show” at 11:30 PM, and Fallon’s program would follow at 12:30am.

The idea that Fallon, the former Saturday Night Live regular, would succeed O’Brien has been circulating for months, but the network is keeping it under wraps. NBC is expected to officially announce their new host by the end of May.

Paris talks about search for BFF

Paris Hilton has fame, money and notoriety. But what is the socialite lacking? A best friend.

The star has been searching for potential friends to take part in her upcoming MTV reality show, "Paris Hilton's My New BFF." The 20 contestants will live together on-camera and vie for the chance to be the socialite's bestest.

The website for the show, ParisBFF.com, has already had six million page views since it went up five weeks ago. Thousands of candidates posted profiles and pictures, hoping to win a place on the show. Visitors will vote for their favorite, who will be added to the cast, according to the show's producers.

However, applicants at the auditions have been few and far between.

"There were less than 40 people there," an insider said about the New York casting call.

Hilton has said she's searching for someone that she can "trust and not someone who's going to stab me in the back – it's happened a lot in this town. Just someone I can have fun with, someone who could be like my sister."

Maybe she should practice what she preaches. I'm sure ex-BFF Kim Kardashian would agree.

But the socialite recently talked to the Associated Press about her search for a best friend.

"It is hard meeting new people. Most of my friends I've had my entire life, like obviously my sister and Nicole Richie have been with me forever. So when I meet new people, I'm always a little wary of the reason they may want to become my friend," Hilton said. "I can usually just tell by when we're out in public and there's paparazzi around, I see, you know, who gets a little bit too excited or whatever. I can tell how those people are."

Hilton said she is not particular about the gender of the new friend, but she is seeking some specific qualities.

"Just someone who's fun, someone who I can trust and just someone who, I don't know, just someone to get along with that is not going to screw me over. Just someone to have a great time with," she explained.

But Hilton may already have a best friend. While in attendance at a party at the Chateau Marmont hosted by Jade Jagger, Hilton said said new boyfriend Benji Madden is her best friend, and the two are deeply in love.

"We make it work so well because we're best friends and we totally trust each other," Hilton told reporters. "We're in love, and we have an amazing time all the time together."

But the hotel heiress said the two won't be walking down the aisle any time soon, despite reports to the contrary.

"No! We're really happy right now," Hilton told People, insisting the two are not looking to further their relationship just yet. "He's definitely different than any guy I've ever been with. He makes me feel really happy, comfortable and really in love."

Stuntman injured on James Bond site

A stuntman filming an action sequence for the new James Bond film was seriously injured Wednesday. He and another stuntman crashed during a car chase on a winding lakeside road in Northern Italy.

The London-based production company for the film, "Quantum of Solace," said the experienced stuntman who was driving an Alfa Romeo at the time was still in the hospital in serious condition. Marco Girardi, a spokesman for the town of Limone sul Garda and a liaison to the production company, said the driver suffered serious head injuries in the crash. Another driver in the same car also suffered less serious injuries.

Girardi said the crew had been filming for two weeks when the Alfa Romeo crashed into a wall while filming a car chase with a truck and James Bond's Aston Martin. A helicopter on standby during the filming took the seriously injured stunt driver to Verona where he had surgery.

Girardi also said that filming was scheduled to conclude Wednesday, soon after the crash occurred. It was the second accident on the movie set in the past four days. On Saturday an Aston Martin was being delivered to the set when it skidded off the road and into Lake Garda due to heavy rain and poor driving conditions. There were no injuries and the car was later recovered.

Director Marc Forster and star Daniel Craig were not on set at the time of the accident. The production company closed the set on Thursday and workers and officials declined to comment to the press. Barring any more on-set incidents, "Quantum of Solace" will be released in the UK on Halloween and in the U.S. on 7 Nov.

J.Lo set to star in new TLC reality show

New mom Jennifer Lopez, 39, was a producer for MTV's "DanceLife" and made a cameo on Fox's "American Idol." But this time the singer-actress-dancer wants the camera on her.

Lopez has signed a contract to star in an unscripted TLC series that follows the star as she balances work and motherhood. She will also be an executive producer of the show.

"Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience," said TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes.

"I'm looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together," Lopez said.

Lopez has three fashion lines and her show will include the launch of a new fragrance from her perfume collection. She and husband Marc Anthony, 38, welcomed twins in February.

But Lopez isn't the only celebrity going the reality TV route. She is preceded by Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, the Osbournes and more. Thirty-seven-year-old Kelly Ripa of "Live with Regis and Kelly" will also host an upcoming TLC series, and she and her husband Mark Consuelos have a deal with TLC so the station has first dibs on upcoming projects the two develop for their production company Milojo Prods.

'Ugly Betty' actor expecting second child

'Ugly Betty' star Eric Mabius and his wife Ivy Sherman are expecting their second child together.

Mabius, who plays editor Daniel Meade on the hit ABC comedy, told the Associated Press that his interior designer wife sprang the news on the show's set last week.

"We don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet," Mabius said.

The two had been trying to get pregnant before the Hollywood writers strike ended and thought when Ugly Betty returned to production, they'd have to wait until the summer to try again.

"I proved her wrong," 37-year-old Mabius said with a grin.

The two already have a one-year-old son. They met in a high school health education class and married in 2006.

Wesley Snipes is sentenced to three years in prison

Action actor Wesley Snipes has been sentenced to three years in prison by a federal judge this afternoon.

In February, the Blade movie star was found guilty of failing to file tax returns from 1999-2001. The actor owed 2.7 Million and was given the maximum sentence under the law.

Snipes’ lawyers tried to argue for leniency and claimed that the star only owed $4000,000 and that the government’s sentencing guidelines weren’t fair.

Although Snipes was acquitted on the felony charges of filing false claims and fraud, the prosecutors pushed to harshly punish Snipes in the misguided hope that such a high-profile case would discourage tax fraud in the future.

Snipes’ co-defendant, who I am assuming are his accountants, were convicted of felony fraud and conspiracy and were sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

Tila Tequila's Second Shot at Love

In watching Tuesday night's premiere of A Shot at Love 2 with Tila Tequila I realized that not only is Tila an internet floozy but also a bit of a delusional liar. Within the first few minutes of the show Tila became all weepy eyed over her failed relationship with season one "winner" Bobby. Claiming that he "broke her heart" Tila cried to one of the lesbian contestants claiming she didn't want to talk about it. Maybe that's because it isn't true. After season one ended, Bobby apparently asked for the internet star's phone number only to be rejected and have his own heart stomped on. Tila is in fact the heart breaker not the one with her heart broken. It's even been reported that she had a real life boyfriend throughout the whole first season and is not in fact bisexual. However, lets put all that aside and focus on the trashy excellence that is Shot at Love 2.

I'm pretty sure the "shot" they speak of is not a shot of tequila but the hepatitis shot required to not only be a participant of the show but to sit at home and watch it. Within 5 minutes every possible naked body part imaginable flashed onto my screen. Guys and girls were tearing their clothes off just to get a piece of "everyone's favorite bi-sexual." The only thing more uncomfortable than that scene was the various instances in which Tila made out with numerous contestants. Calling herself a "lady," she kicked off two guys for getting to hands-on and revealing with her. I could be wrong, but I think that making out with 6 different people in an hour of television might disqualify you from the category of "lady."

All the trashiness aside, that hour of television gave me more to laugh about than the whole season of the Office. The pure and simple fact that a rational human being would want a shot of anything with Tila bewilders me. However, these contestants are not rational human beings. In the first episode the guys have already fought and the girls have already made out. From the drunken burping guy with the mohawk or Chad from Detroit who comes "stocked with wang-bone, which girls love" all these people only add more craziness to the show.

So as much as I hate to say it, Shot at Love 2 comes greatly recommended. Even if you only watch to make yourself feel that much classier.

Who's gay on Gossip Girl?

It was reveled on E! that the character of Eric Verderwoodsen will be soon be outed in a shocking way during an upcoming episode of the hit CW drama, Gossip Girl. Check out the clip below for details.

Star Jones is headed for divorce

Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three-and-a-half-years, Al Reynolds.

It’s no secret to family, friends, and the general public that the couple have been having issues almost form the start, and so the divorce is not much of a surprise to anyone.

Well, except for maybe Jones.

The former View talk-show host made the following statement to access Hollywood concering her divorce:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

Jones was publicly criticized for the attention she attempted to garner for her over-the-top wedding ceremony in 2004, and it will follow suit that Star might decide to spill the details of her divorce after all. But only if she deems it a pertinent career move.

I for one can’t wait. I’m sure the 411 will be incredibly salacious. *Yawn.*

Shia Labouf is No Longer Wanted

The charges against actor Shia LaBeouf have been dropped.

The twenty-one-year-old Transformers' star was given a citation for unlawfully smoking on a sidewalk outside of a gift shop in Burbank, CA on Feb. 18, and after failing to appear in court on March 18th, a $1000 bench warrant had been issued for his arrest.

The day after his missed court date, LaBeouf’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf, and the charges were dropped on the condition that Shia pay a $500 fine.

Which just goes to show that smoking really is a costly habit. Maybe next time he’ll think twice before lighting-up. Or at least make sure he sends someone to attend his court date ontime.

Tom Cruise will return to Oprah

Remember this clip of when Tom Cruise was a guest on Oprah Winfrey's talk show to promote "War of the Worlds," his 2005 alien invasion film co-starring Dakota Fanning?

How could you forget?

Well the actor is returning to the show, his first appearance since June 23, 2005, when he made headlines for jumping on the couch and professing his love for Katie Holmes.

The show will probably air during May sweeps, perhaps to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cruise's hit debut in "Risky Business" this summer.

There are currently "special plans" being made for the anniversary, a rep for Warner Home Video confirmed. The details are not yet set in stone, but other celebrities have been contacted about appearing on the show to celebrate the movie milestone.

Publicists for Cruise and "The Oprah Winfrey Show" were both unavailable for comment.

Carmen Electra is engaged

Actress-model Carmen Electra just became engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, former Korn touring guitarist Rob Patterson, Electra's rep Jill Fritzo confirmed to People.

"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged," a source said. "The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

Carly Smithson voted off Idol

Carly Smithson, 24, was the latest to be eliminated from American Idol, as the field narrowed from six to five contestants.

Smithson, an Irish bartender from San Diego, received rave reviews from judges Tuesday for her performance of "Superstar" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar." But she found herself in the bottom with Syesha Mercado, who also heard positive feedback for her rendition of "One Rock 'n' Roll Too Many" from "Starlight Express."

Although neither of the two were strangers to the bottom two, Jason Castro and Brooke White had the poorest-received performances Tuesday night.

"It must be a bit of a popularity week in the vote," Randy Jackson told Ryan Seacrest.

Simon Cowell apologized for his praise for Smithson, calling it the "kiss of death." He also told her she could leave "with her head held high."

But Smithson stayed positive after hearing the results. She thanked the judges and said she has a great time on the show. "I'm not upset that I'm going home," she added. "I had the best time here."

The tattooed singer's participation on the show had been subject to much critique due to her prior professional recording experience. Her debut album, "Ultimate High," released by RCA in 2001, was a flop, leading her to audition for American Idol.

Also during the show, President Bush and the First Lady appeared in a taped appearance, thanking viewers for their donations during Idols Give Back. The charity event raised more than $65 million for children in need.

Chart-topper Leona Lewis also performed her hit single "Bleeding Love." Watch the video clip of her performance below.

Movie bear kills trainer

Remember this scene from Will Ferrell's Semi-Pro?

Rocky, the bear in the film, attacked and killed his trainer on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred near Big Bear Lake mountain resort, east of Los Angeles, at Randy Miller's Predators in Action, a facility where wild animals are trained for television and film roles.

The 700-pound, 7 1/2-foot-tall grizzly reportedly bit trainer Stephan Miller, 39, on the neck. Two trainers at the facility subdued Rocky with pepper spray and were unharmed, but Miller died at the scene.

A neighbor said the victim's cousin came to their house and told them they had been filming an advertisement when the incident occurred. Rocky had previously been in the films Semi-Pro and The Last Samurai, among others.

"They were filming [the advertisement] and the bear started licking [Miller's] face and then all of a sudden it just bit him," the neighbor relayed. "[Miller's cousin] was just really upset and didn't know why it happened."

Paramedics arrived approximately 30 minutes after the attack, but they were unable to revive Miller.

Wardens of the California state Fish and Game Department examined the enclosed compound and the five-year-old bear, but spokesman Harry Morse said no permit violations or dangers to public safety were found.

The fate of the bear is still up in the air, though, as the incident occurred on a private site, outside of the jurisdiction of the California state Fish and Game Department. Kate McGuire, spokeswoman for the state Department of Industrial Relations, said the state occupational safety officials are also sending an investigator to see if they have jurisdiction.

Authorities have said that as long as there is no wrongdoing, the owners can decide whether to destroy or keep Rocky alive. The Sheriff's Department is conduction an investigation, but not a criminal probe, said spokeswoman Jodi Miller.

The bear is not known to have been involved in any other mishaps and Predators in Action, which first received a permit in 1992, also has a clean record. Two brown bears, a black bear, a lopard, a mountain lion, four African lions, four tigers, an alligator, a crocodile and other snakes and reptiles are currently at the facility.

Friends of Randy Miller called him an experienced, top-class trainer dedicated to safety and caring for his animals.

"He has a perfect safety record. He's always on the ball, making sure everything is extra safe," said Chemaine Almquist, founder of Forever Wild, an exotic animal center in Phelan, and a close personal friend of the victim. "He's always the one who says, 'You've got to do this, check the locks twice, you gotta wear pepper spray.' When I first found out, I was ready to throw up."

According to Denise Richards of Moonridge Zoo, a sanctuary for injured and homeless animals at Big Bear Lake, it's hard to determine why Rocky attacked.

"You can train them and use as many safety precautions as you can, but you're still taking a chance if you're putting yourself in contact with them," Richards said. "It's still a wild animal. Even though it may appear that the bear attacked for no reason, there was a reason. ... They're not cold-blooded killers."

Will Ferrell, Rocky's co-star in Semi-Pro, is shooting a film and unavailable for comment, his publicist said.

So it ISN'T real...

For the longest time I thought that Rock of Love's Brett Michael's hair was real and that he just had a bandanna fetish, but apparently I've been proven wrong.

He's revealed just exactly what is underneath that bandana of his!

"My hair is combined of my hair and the finest extensions Europe has to offer," says Michaels. "I do the show without it on all the time and they won't film me. They are like, "Put your bandanna back on. It is your image." It is my signature thing."

Thanks to the producers, you don't have to see the nappy parts of his hair where it meets the extensions. I didn't think extensions and weaves could get any worse than the contestants on his show.

You have to wonder...how much of it is real hair and how much of it is extensions? I guess as long as theres groupies to worship the ground he walks on and producers to give him a show and do his hair, we'll never know.

Disney Star Goes Missing

As crazy as it sounds, 20 year-old actor Orlando Brown, from the hit Disney show That's So Raven, has been missing since early Tuesday morning. Naturally his family and friends are freaking out, so hopefully authorities will find him soon.

Maybe he's gone the route of other young stars and gone on an all night party binge in the Hollywood Hills

Apparently, he left the Studio City home of his manager, Ricky Romance, at around 10:20am to make a quick stop at the 7-Eleven, and has not been seen since. The store is just a quick walking distance from the house. Brown was set to have a full day of appointments and meetings yesterday and did not show up to any.

Brown's publicist adds that his friends and family members are very concerned as he's not one to be out of touch for too long.

His manager has been calling local hospitals and putting up MySpace ads in hopes of hearing something about his whereabouts.

Hopefully this isn't another publicity stunt, and if it isn't, hopefully everything turns out alright.

UPDATE: Orlando Brown has returned safe and sound and apologized for causing everyone such distress. He claims that the reason he disappeared was because, after finding out that he would not be the opening act for a performance, he "felt a little lost and needed to get away.” Awww poor Orlando.

So maybe Posh isn't the ultimate fashionista...

What happens when people don't buy your jeans...

They end up at Loehmann's!!!

I guess Victoria's jeans aren't selling as well as she wanted especially when they end up in a discount department store.

Her "designer" jeans usually sell for around $290 at trendy boutiques in New York and Los Angeles.

Because there is such a surplus, they've ended up at discount stores for around $69.99.

You may be a style star Victoria, but it looks like your clothing line hasn't followed in your footsteps.

Yesterday's Earth Day News!

To commemorate Earth Day yesterday the world's most popular board game announced the addition of renewable energy utilities on the Monoploy Here & Now: The World Edition Game Board!

Recognizing the increasing importance of renewable energy sources around the world, MONOPOLY announces that it will feature “Wind Energy” and “Solar Energy” as the utilities in the upcoming MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition game. The new utilities will replace the “Water Works” and “Electric Company” spaces that traditionally appear on the MONOPOLY game board.

“When creating this first-ever worldwide MONOPOLY game board, we reviewed all elements of the game to ensure that it reflects today's global perspective. This included the utility property spaces,” said Phil Jackson, Group Executive, Hasbro Games. “In a nod to the efforts of countries worldwide to increase the effectiveness and availability of renewable energy sources, we decided to feature Solar Energy and Wind Energy on the game board.”

Globally, wind energy and solar energy are among the fastest growing renewable energy sources. According to the World Wind Energy Association, wind energy generates more than 1 percent of global electricity and is used in more than 70 countries. Solar power continues to grow in popularity as an energy source, with Germany, Japan and the United States leading the world in solar energy capacity. Additionally, rooftop solar heat collectors provide hot water to more than 50 million households worldwide.

In early 2008, MONOPOLY fans from around the world voted for the global cities that they would like to see represented on the first-ever World edition game board. More than 5 million votes were cast during the voting period to determine the 22 cities that will be featured on the game board. The results of the worldwide vote will be announced in August 2008. The new MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition will be available in stores around the world in Autumn 2008.

The official MONOPOLY board has long represented elite locations in individual cities. However, recently Parker Brothers invited fans of the game to help update the board in their respective countries to reflect what the game board would look like if it were created today instead of in 1935. The votes resulted in the “Here & Now” versions of the game in each country. Previous “Here & Now” editions have featured “Cell Phone Service” and “Internet Service” instead of the Water Works and Electric Company utility spaces.

A-Rod is a dad for the 2nd time

Baseball star Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia welcomed their second child Monday. The 7 lbs., 2 oz girl was born in Miami, and will join the couple's three-year-old daughter Natasha.

"We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives," said Rodriguez, third baseman for the New York Yankees and a two-time American League MVP.

"A new baby girl, so that's exciting," Yankees manager Joe Girardi told the Associated Press on Tuesday.

"We're thrilled. We can't wait," Cynthia Rodriguez told People when the couple announced the pregnancy in October. "It's almost more exciting [than the first child] in a way, because you can anticipate what you already know is so amazing."

Nicole Kidman fights violence against women

Nicole Kidman, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Development Fund for Women, spoke out Tuesday during a press conference at the U.N. headquarters in New York.

"Obviously, I'm emotionally connected to this," Kidman said about her commitment to the issue. "I'm a mother. I have a child on the way. A lot of it is realizing the things that are wrong and [pondering] how can I contribute to help my children have a better life?"

An ambassador since 2006, Kidman called violence against women the "most widespread human rights violation of our time."

"One in three women will encounter a violence in some way, shape or form against them in their lifetime," Kidman said. "THat's an extraordinary statistic. Yet do we ever hear it?"

Kidman has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Connor, 13, will be making his film debut in the drama "Seven Pounds," playing a young Will Smith.

Kidman and husband Keith Urban are expecting their first child together. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the Oscar-winning Australiana actress spoke out about her pregnancy.

"I’ve had severe morning sickness," the 40-year-old mom-to-be said.

But she admitted to wondering about what comes next. "[I'm] good actually, really good. Waiting for the third trimester," she said. "Everyone says that is hard work."

David Hasselhoff hospitalized

David Hasselhoff was taken to UCLA Medical Center Saturday to treat an eye problem. Although rumors circulated that the actor - who has been treated for alcoholism in the past - was returning to rehab, publicist Judy Katz told the Associated Press Monday that was not the case.

"He's fine; he had something removed," Katz said. "He's coming out tonight."

Katz declined to comment further on the nature of the problem.

Just last week Hasselhoff's divorce to Pamela Bach was settled. Hasselhoff will pay $25,000 a month to support Bach and their two daughters. The two divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage; they retain joint custody.

Diaz plans a year off

Cameron Diaz has announced she plans to take a year off after filming the 2009 film "My Sister's Keeper," based on the bestseller by Jodi Picoult.

"I envision a full year off, just living life and having fun. It's the best thing, Diaz told W magazine in their May issue.

She said she plans to use her time off for self-discovery.

"[I'm] just kind of taking more time getting to know myself. It sounds so corny that I can't believe I even just said that, but, you know, there comes a time when you really have to get to know who you are," she said. "I've just been figuring out what interests me and spending time with people who are important to me and being present in my own life."

She also said she plans to become involved with a charity, although she would not reveal specifics.

"I'm not ready to talk about that yet because they're not totally up and running and I don't want to mess them up by talking about them too soon," she said.

During the interview, which was conducted prior to her father's death last week, Diaz professed her current happiness.

"I'm in love with love. I'm in love with life," she said. "This year I just sort of decided, you know, there's a lot of things that I've been wanting to do and I'm going to do them."

Woman who hit Sandra Bullock is going to court

Lucille Gatchell, the sixty-four-year-old woman who crashed into Sandra Bullock’s SUV, is scheduled for an arraignment Tuesday in a Gloucester District Court.

She is facing drunken driving charges, and her blood-alcohol level was allegedly twice the legal limit in the state of Massachusetts at the time of the accident.

Neither Bullock nor her husband, Jesse James, were injured in the crash on Friday night.

Bullock is currently filming a romantic comedy entitled “The Proposal.”

Miley Cyrus' Risqué Pictures

Pictures that are rumored to be of a semi-provocative Miley Cyrus are circulating the net.

One photo shows the fifteen-year-old Hannah Montana star pulling down her white tank top to reveal a green bra, and another pic bares her midriff while she is draped across the lap of a young man.

The shots may or not be photoshopped, but this is not the first time risqué pictures of the Disney creation have surfaced. Photographs were faked in February of a girl posing as Cyrus in her underwear and bikini.

Mile Cyrus, who serves as a popular role model for young girls today, has publicly proclaimed her intention to remain a virgin until married, and if these photos are real they could prove damaging to her otherwise relatively pristine reputation.

The upcoming Hannah Montana movie will be released on May 1st, and it is also rumored that Cyrus is intending to write her memoirs so they she can share with her fans the life experience she’s gained thus far.

Nalgene Water Bottles Pulled From Shelves

Nalgene water bottles, the popular reusable sports accessory made with bisphenol, is going to be pulled from the shelves due to the belief that the chemical used in making the hard plastic poses a potential health risk.

Since 2000, the multi-colored bottles have become widely-used among students on high school and college campuses because the bottles are light-weight and resistant to damage. The bottles also serve as an environmentally sound replacement for disposable water bottles.

Studies in Japan maintain that the amount of bisphenol found in the bottles is too low to cause any real damage to humans, however, a panel of US government researchers who attended a National Institutes of Health conference maintain that BPA does pose a concern and that more research is needed.

More than six million pound of bisphenol A is produced in the US each year and the chemical is found in hundreds of household goods. However, the chemical has been linked to neurological and behavior problems in infants and babies, as well as cancer, diabetes, and obesity in adults.

Nalgene intends to replace the chemical with BPA-free alternatives, and the general manager of the company Steven Silverman issued the following statement:

“By eliminating containers containing BPA from our consumer product mix, our customers can have confidence that their needs are being met.”

Tickets to 1st Annual CRÜE FEST on sale

How many rock stars can you fit on one stage? Mötley Crüe recently invited the lead singers of fellow Crüe Fest bands Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt to sing on and appear in the video for their new single “Saints Of Los Angeles.” The groundbreaking idea to pack the song, video and tour poster full of hit making rock stars seeks to give fans a taste of the excess and camaraderie they will see at this Summer’s first annual Crüe Fest. After debuting as an exclusive on MySpace.com on Wednesday, April 16, the video for “Saints Of Los Angeles” featuring Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Josh Todd (Buckcherry), James Michael (Sixx:A.M.) and Chris Taylor Brown (Trapt) has already received over 100,000 plays.

Mötley Crüe announced Crüe Fest, the loudest show on earth, on Tuesday, April 15th at the Avalon in Los Angeles. The tour kicks off July 1st in West Palm Beach, FL and will also feature Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt. Crüe Fest tickets will go on sale via the internet beginning today and tomorrow depending on the market.

Says, “Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe, “With all of the distractions and temptations in the city of Los Angeles, it was one hell of an exercise to try and wrangle these rock stars together for the betterment of debauchery and Rock ‘n’ Roll” (in other words Crüe Fest 2008).

“Five rock star vocalists on one song…what more can I say,” says Josh Todd of Buckcherry.

Said Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, “When you turn up the Rock ‘n’ Roll there’s honesty in it, there's truth in it and it's fun. That's why this Summer I'm stoked about bringing rock back on a massive level and being a part of it, a part of that movement.”

Says James Michael of Sixx:A.M., "While producing "Saints Of Los Angeles," my goal was to incorporate the concept of Crüe Fest into the sound of the track. Bringing Josh (Buckcherry), Jacoby (Papa Roach) and Chris (Trapt) in as guest vocalists as well as adding my own vocals to the choruses really helped capture the spirit of what audiences will be experiencing this Summer as Crüe Fest hits the road."

“After we performed on Kimmel, seeing five lead vocalists from five bands on one stage looked huge,” said Chris Taylor Brown of Trapt.

Hillary Clinton on The Colbert Report

Here's a clip of Hillary Clinton's brief appearance on The Colbert report last Thursday. Personally, I don't think it was all that funny, and with all of the prior hype surrounding her stint on the show, I was a bit let down.

Gossip Girl will no longer be streamed online

The CW announced that when Gossip Girl returns on Monday, the new episodes will no longer be streamed on their website (CWTV.com).

The first twelve episodes of the season will remain on the site and were originally made available for free a week after their airdate. The show received hundreds of thousands of viewers online which the Network believes poses a threat to the primetime airing of the show, since teens are being conditioned to watch the show online rather then when it is on television.

A CW spokesman said that “While the buzz on the show has remained strong, we decided to have it be that you can only get it on our airwaves. We’ll see if that at all impacts the numbers.”

The show has switched from Wednesday at 9:00PM to Mondays at 8:00PM and because of the WGA strike, tonight will be the first new episode of the show in three months. The new episodes will continue to be available on iTunes where Gossip Girl downloads are ranked among the highest.

President Bush on 'Deal or No Deal'

President George W. Bush will be making a taped appearance on NBC's "Deal or No Deal" tonight. He will be thanking contestant Capt. Joseph Kobes, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient who completed three tours of Iraq. Kobes was a transportation officer who volunteered for his second and third deployments.

"The show's producers contacted the White House after learning from Capt. Kobes that the president is one of his heroes," said White House spokesman Tony Fratto. "And it really is, actually, an emotional moment for Capt. Kobes and the family. And so we look forward to that, and we all wish him luck as well."

Bush reportedly taped his appearance in March. In it, he wishes Kobes luck in winning the $1 million prize and jokes about the difficulty in balancing the budget as president by asking host Howie Mandel how he would feel if he were hosting a $3 trillion dollar reality show.

Velvet Revolver looking for new singer - online

Velvet Revolver is turning to the Internet to find a replacement singer for Scott Weiland.

"The band is actually talking about building a Web site [and] doing some auditions via that, so that's been something that's developing at this point," guitarist Slash said. "We're at that point of just listening to different things... it's one of those kind of situations where you can't really explain it to anybody because you'll know it when you hear it. So I'm waiting to get that feeling of, 'Yeah that's it.'"

During Velvet Revolver's next show in Las Vegas, the band will have a number of singers joining them.

"I'm not gonna name any names, but a bunch of well-known people will get up and sing some songs, and then also bring up a couple people that we think are pretty good and might sing a couple songs," Slash said told Billboard.

Weiland left the band April 1 to return to Stone Temple Pilots, which is starting a reunion tour this summer.

Eli Manning marries on the beach

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning married his college sweetheart, Abby McGrew, on Saturday.

The two exchanged vows in a 15-minute sunset ceremony in front of the Sea of Cortez in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the New York Daily News reported.

Around 60 close friends and family were flown to Mexico to attend the event, and they included Mannings parents and brothers, Cooper and Peyton.

"Everything in their lives is so big, I think they wanted this wedding to be really small and elegant and intimate," said McGrew's Nashville-based wedding planner.

"Welcome to one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever presided over," the minister said at the beginning of the ceremony, according to the News. A reception followed on the beach.

The couple met while students at the University of Mississippi. Manning reportedly proposed during a trip to Hoboken, NJ last March. They selected the resort for their wedding after vacationing there several times.

Manning has played with the Giants since 2004, and this year he was named Super Bowl MVP after his team upset the New England Patriots. His new wife is an account executive for fashion designer Pamela Roland.

Christian Siriano disses "The Hills" girls

Christian Siriano has been very busy since his win on Bravo TV's "Project Runway." The over-the-top designer will guest star on ABC's "Ugly Betty" May 1.

"Filming Ugly Betty was amazing," the 22-year-old said. "The cast was the most fun, lively and supportive ever. They're as fierce and ferocious as they can be. Vanessa Williams is the queen of fierceness and Becki Newton is the princess... I'm inviting them all to my Spring 2008-09 collection — it'll be a great front row!"

"Project Runway" judge Nina Garcia will also make a guest appearance on the show, playing herself.

But Siriano's been doing more than making nice with the cast of "Ugly Betty." He made some negative comments to Life & Style magazine about celebrity designers, reportedly Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port of MTV's "The Hills," in particular.

"It's really sad that if I didn't win Project Runway, I probably wouldn't have the sponsors I have now. I would have never been able to do what they have done because they all have disposable income, and yet their work still isn't that great," Siriano said. "I mean, i's fun and flirty and young, but they're not innovators. None of them will ever be an innovative designer. Buyers and editors are looking for longevity, and hopefully they will see that in me."

Yikes! I can only wonder what he thinks of Heidi Montag's new line, Heidiwood!

Sandra Bullock in car accident

Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were in a car accident last night, according to People. The actress and James were riding home in a private car from Gloucester, Mass. at 9:50 p.m. when a drunk driver switched lanes suddenly, smashing the front of the star's car. There were no injuries, fortunately.

"They were shaken up, needless to say," Gloucester Police Lt. Gerry Cook said. "But they were fine – he was hugging her. Jess and Sandra were hugging. They said they were fine, they didn’t need medical attention. There were quite a few people snapping pictures of them."

The driver of the other car, 64-year-old Gloucester resident Lucille P. Gatchell, failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of .20, two and a half times the legal limit. She was arrested and later released on her own recognizance. She will be arraigned on Tuesday for driving under the influence and failure to stay in marked lanes.

Cook said Gatchell did not realize Sandra Bullock was in the car she hit until the arresting officer told her on the way to the station. "And then she started laughing; she was really giddy," he said.

Britney Spears returns to HIMYM

People has reported that Britney Spears will return to How I Met Your Mother, reprising her role as a receptionist at a dermatologist's office who falls for Josh Radnor's character.

"The show is ecstatic and so is Britney," the source told People. "She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more."

The 24-year-old's appearance on the March 24 episode marked a comeback of sorts for the fallen singer.

"She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well, and she was great," Jason Segal said.

Check out the full clip of Spears' appearance the first time around.

Foxy Brown released from prison

Rapper Foxy Brown, 29, was released on Friday after spending 8 months in a New York prison.

Brown, born Inga Marchand, was sentenced to a one-year incarceration after assaulting two nail salon stylists after receiving a $20 manicure. She was initially sentenced to three years of probation in October 2006, but in September 2007 a judge sentenced her to jail time because Brown was not taking probation seriously.

Stephen Morello, a Department of Corrections spokesman, said Brown's release was not unusual, as inmates typically serve two-thirds of their sentence.

A less than model inmate, Brown spent 40-76 days (reports have differed on the length of time) in isolation in the fall after refusing a drug test and getting into a shoving match with another inmate. In January she requested and was denied early release to treat an ear condition, which she thought could cause permanent hearing damage.

"Yes, I've made some bad choices and stupid mistakes. But please understand that sitting in a prison with murderers and criminals is not rehabilitating or what I need to deal with my inner issues," Brown wrote to Judge Melissa Jackson in a four-page missive.

But when Brown was released from the Rikers Island Correctional facility at 12:05 p.m., she was greeted warmly by fans and photographers.

"I feel good," she said at the time. "I'm back home."

Brown then went to LaGuardia Inn for a press conference.

"My family never missed a visit in eight months, ever. I cried coming out. I didn't cry coming in. There's a big difference," she told Access Hollywood. "I believe that God put me there for a reason; incarceration is serious."

X-Files Movie Title Revealed

The previously untitled X-Files movie that is scheduled to be in theaters on July 25th will be called The X-Files: I Want to Believe. This is the second film spin-off of the popular paranormal television show that aired for nine seasons.

The title of the film was a slogan on a poster Mulder had hanging in his basement. In a phone interview the director claimed that “It’s a natural title. It’s a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. ‘I Want to Believe.’ It really does suggest Mulder’s struggle with his faith.”

The movie is coming out ten years after the first film and six years after the show ended, and the story has been kept under wraps to prevent plot spoilers from leaking.

Unlike the television series which dealt heavily with the topic of aliens, the film will be a “stand-alone, earth-bound” story, so that it will be easier for newcomers to follow, but not as to disappoint the fans.
