More Teen Pregnancy News...

Former American Idol Season 5 contestant, Paris Bennett, is pregnant. The nineteen-year-old aspiring singer announced she is pregnant with her first child and the family couldn't be happier.

"I'm proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant," says Paris' mother, Jamecia Bennett. Oh dear, dear! I don't know about that.

Eddie Murphy Announces Movie Retirement

Eddie Murphy has revealed to TV show Extra that his upcoming movie, Meet Dave, is one of his last. The veteran comedian recently announced, "Fifty years (old) I'll have been making movies thirty years and I have close to fifty movies and it is like why am I in the movies…I've done that part now. I'll go back to the stage and do stand-up."

He's been around awhile, we don't really blame him. It's time for Eddie to relax a little and keep to the stage!

Why, Emile Hirsch, Why?!

We thought he was going to be the next Hollywood heartthrob but actor Emile Hirsh isn't looking too good these days. What's with the silver outfit? And the shaggy hair? C'mon, Emile needs a makeover!

His new flick which co-stars Christina Ricci, Speed Racer, bombed at the box office in The States. Hirsch just appeared in Japan at the premiere of the movie, wearing this same outfit! Big no-no! What happened to his rugged, outdoor days from Into The Wild?

It's Double-Date Time!

Actors and BBF's in real life Ben Affleck and Matt Damon took their wives on a double date last night to the restuarant Nobu in Malibu, California. Damon's wife Luciana is looking pretty pregnant with their second child! Both couples seemed to enjoy a relaxed and casual date night on the west coast.

Pamela Anderson Hates Jessica Simpson

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson didn't have such nice things to say about singer Jessica Simpson in a recent radio interview in Australia. Anderson reportedly responded to a question about Simpson by responding, "I think she is a bitch and whore." WHOA NOW! Where are those such strong feelings coming from?

It may be because Anderson is a devout vegetarian and Simpson recently rocked a t-shirt with the statement, "Real Girls Eat Meat," on the front. Anderson has been a supporter of PETA and encouraging others to go vegetarian for quite some time. She may disagree with what Jessica eats but those are some harsh words!

An Unlikely Pair: Pic of the Day

American Idol winner David Cook cozied up with The Hill's star Audrina Patridge at an event honoring Glamour's new Senior West Coast Editor James Patrick Herman at a private residence on June 25, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Could these two be a new Hollywood couple? Atleast that would officially get JustinBobby out of the picture (right, Hills fans?).

Viva Espana!

Congratulations to the soccer team of Spain! They beat Germany (1-0) to be named the champions of the Euro 2008 Soccer Cup on Sunday! Spain hasn't won the title in 44 years so this win is well deserved.

"It is to me the most important day in Spanish football in many, many years," says player Fernando Torres who scored the winning goal in the 33rd minute of the game. The game was played in front of a crowd of 51,428 fans, almost equally split down the middle in terms of Germany fans and Spain supporters.

Amy Winehouse Punches Fan

It's been seven month's since her last full show, so Amy Winehouse wanted to make sure everyone remembered her return to the stage by punching a fan.

The troubled singer was performing at the Glastonbury Festival in front of 80,000, when she punched a spectator in the first row during "Rehab."

She had stepped down into the pit during the performance. After lashing out at the fan, she was gently escorted back to the stage by security staff.

Winehouse got violent because someone grabbed her breasts, said concert organizer Michael Eavis.

Her appearance at the festival seemed doubtful after she was hospitalized for collapsing in her London home earlier this month.

In newspaper interviews published last weekend, Mitch Winehouse, the singer's father, said his daughter had damaged her lungs and developed early-stage emphysema as a consequence of allegedly smoking crack cocaine and cigarettes.

The performance was part of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebration. Winehouse was just one of many stars performing at the event.

Disney/Pixar's film 'WALL-E' topped the weekend box office, taking in an $62.5 million, according to estimates by Exhibitor Relations. It marked the biggest Pixar film opening since 2004's 'The Incredibles.'

Angelina Jolie and James McEvoy's 'Wanted' was second, with $51.1 million in ticket sales. However, the the action flick was released in 800 fewer theaters than 'WALL-E,' so it actually outgrossed the family-friendly film by near $500 per screen.

'Wanted' marks the biggest opening ever for Jolie.

Steve Carrell's 'Get Smart' was knocked down to third place this weekend, but ticket sales were down less than 50 percent.

The top ten films in the weekend box office, according to estimates by Exhibitor Relations, are listed below:

Supermodel Dies In Manhattan

Sad news today. Ruslana Korshunova, 20, died in lower Manhattan yesterday after she fell nine stories from her apartment building. Witnesses discovered the body laying in the middle of Water St. in the Financial District of the city. Police are investigating the death. Korshunova has appeared in many magazines and graced the covers of Vogue and Elle.

Rose McGowan to play Red Sonja

Red Sonja is the latest comic book hero to come to life. This time Robert Rodriguez will produce the action film, and his fiancée, Rose McGowan, will play the flame-haired Marvel character.

In the film, the She-Devil with a Sword tries to exact vengeance on the people who killed her family, but realizes she must use her superhero ways to save Hyrkania (modern-day Russia and Ukraine) from an evil sorcerer, as well.

It will be directed by Douglas Aarniokoski, who helms Highland: Endgame, Millennium Films and Nu Images announced Friday.

"This is an amazing property and film for our company," said studio executive Avi Lerner. "Working with the talented Robert Rodriguez, having Rose McGowan as Red Sonja and Douglas Aarniokoski directing is a fantastic combination. We could not be happier."

The film is expected to start filming in October, although the studio is still scouting locations in Michigan and other areas of the U.S.

The scale mail bikini-wearing heroine was first brought to life in the critically-panned 1985 B-movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Brigitte Nielsen as the titular character.

It was a box office flop, grossing around $7 million in the box office, well below its $15 million budget.

"It's the worst film I have ever made," Schwarzenegger said later. "Now, when my kids get out of line, they're sent to their room and forced to watch Red Sonja ten times. I never have too much trouble with them."

It's a celebrity wedding weekend!

Several celebrities tied the knot this weekend, including Ruben Studdard, Chris Kattan and two sports legends.

'American Idol' Season 2's Velvet Teddy Bear, Ruben Studdard, wed Surata Zuri McCants in his hometown of Birmingham, Ala. Saturday. The ceremoney was performed at Canterbury United Methodist Church.

The two met in a Wal-Mart in Atlanta in October 2006. Studdard was signing CDs and noticed McCants. He followed her to the toy department and asked for her phone number.

Former 'Saturday Night Live' star Chris Kattan also got married on Saturday. He wed model Sunshine Tutt in a ceremony in Yosemite Valley, Calif., People confirmed.

The two have been dating since spring 2005 when they met at a birthday party. Kattan proposed on Christmas Eve 2006.

"Originally I was going to do something very special," Kattan told People about the proposal. "I tried to get Bono of U2 to serenade her. That didn't happen. Then I asked Justin Timberlake. No answer."

After hundreds of phone calls and text messages, I finally ended up asking one of the members of the Hanson group. He didn't want to get involved."

Kattan wrapped the engagement ring in a cheap box, instead.

Finally, sports legends Chris Evert and Greg Norman also wed on Saturday. The wedding weekend began with a golf and tennis tournament on Friday, and the sunset ceremony in the Bahamas was attended by 140 family and friends.

"They wanted a romantic wedding," said event planner Mary Fanizzi Krystoff. "They wanted their friends and family to enjoy a wonderful weekend together."

The couple got engaged on Dec. 9, 2008 in South Africa. It is Norman's second marriage and Evert's third.

Teen decapitated by Batman ride

A teenager at the Six Flags Over Georgia was killed around 2-2:30 p.m. today when he was hit and decapitated by the amusement park's popular Batman roller coaster, which can travel at up to 50 mph.

Cobb County police are investigating the death, which occurred after the 17-year-old scaled two six-foot fences marked with "Danger" and "Do Not Enter" signs.

"We do not know why this person was intent on gaining access to this restricted area,"
Park spokeswoman Hela Sheth said in a news release.

"Some witnesses have stated that the individual was trying to retrieve something he had lost. Others reported that he was trying to touch the ride," she added. "This is merely speculation at this point, and we are working with park visitors and local police to learn more."

Another Six Flags representative said the teen was one of a group of youth who jumped over the perimeter fence as the ride was coming, although none of the other kids, nor any of the people on the ride, were injured.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was reportedly with a church group at the time, although his family was at the park, as well, the Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote on its website.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family," a statement form the park read. Cobb County reports have not returned calls seeking comments, not have they confirmed that the teen was decapitated.

The description of Batman: The Ride is described on the Six Flags website as such: "Soar like a bat out of Hades, through, above—and even underneath—Gotham City, suspended from the rails of one of the most innovative coasters of all time."

It is described as "one of the most spell-binding coasters ever," with "one-of-a-kind heartline spin producing a feeling of weightlessness."

It is not to be confused with the new The Dark Knight roller coaster, located at Six Flags Great Adventure. The ride's May 15 launch preceded the upcoming film by several months.

NBA Draft Highlights

For the first time in NBA draft history, the first three picks were college players who just completed their freshmen years. The Chicago Bulls chose Memphis guard Derrick Rose as the first pick overall. He was followed by Kansas State's Michael Beasley, who went to the Miami Heat, and O.J. Mayo of the University of Southern California who was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"We actually talked about this earlier," Beasley said. "We all grew up together and we all grew up playing against each other and we all made a pact together that we would all be here. Just to see it all fall into place and see it all happen is kind of crazy."

Five of the top seven selections were freshmen, as were 10 of the first round draftees, both NBA records. More information can be found on the Official Home Page of the NBA.

Spencer Pratt vs. Mary-Kate Olsen

Let me paint a picture for you. Mary-Kate Olsen was a guest on The David Letterman Show this past week. Letterman asked if she had gone to school with any of the young Hollywood stars out there and Olsen responded that she went to high school with The Hill's star, Spencer Pratt. It was obvious that Mary-Kate Olsen wasn't a fan of Pratt and commented that he had a pretty bad temper when he played high school soccer.

NOW GET THIS! Pratt is reponding back at Mary-Kate Olsen and released his statement to Us Weekly about her appearance, this is so tactless! He says, “I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see. She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me… I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman. I forgive her, though. She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

DAYYY-UM! This picture is allegedly from the time that the two knew eachother. They look pretty young but there's your proof!

More Lohan Family Drama...

Daddy's got a big secret! This family just can't get any crazier, they are right up there with the Hogans these days! The father of Lindsay and Ali Lohan, Michael Lohan, has confirmed that he fathered an illegitimate while married to then wife, Dina Lohan.

The child is 13-years old. In a statement to OK! magazine, Michael says, "Years later [the woman he was messing with behind Dina's back] contacted me, convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child."

This should be very interesting, keep a look out for how it develops! I wonder if this saga will play out on their E! reality show.

Flight attendant files lawsuit against J.Lo

Flight attendant Lisa Wilson filed a $5 million lawsuit against Jennifer Lopez yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court for complaints regarding a 2006 private flight the singer took.

Wilson alleged that Lopez's German shepherd guard dog was unruly, "attacking [Wilson] and biting her pant leg." She also said the attack caused her to fall, leading to back injuries that have prevented her from working.

The complaint says that "Prior to departure, the defendant Lopez warned the plaintiff about how she should behave around the guard dog." Wilson said that at the beginning of the flight, the dog, Floyd, seemed like "a well behaved guard dog."

Thirty minutes later; however, Floyd "lunged" at Wilson, leading to her fall and injury. In the complaint, Wilson said she began treatment for back pain and had surgery in April 2007, but she remains in treatment and has suffered "substantial economic loss" due to her inability to work.

In the suit, which E! News obtained, Wilson claimed that Lopez "knew or should have known that the animal had vicious propensities" and therefore is liable for her injuries.

Lopez has not replied to the charge, as of yet.

And according to the New York Post, Lopez was also subpoenaed last week to testify in a lawsuit regarding a 1999 nightclub shooting involving her boyfriend at the time, Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Natalia Reuben, a woman who was caught in the crossfire and shot in the face, filed a $130 million lawsuit against Combs and rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow, who was sentenced to jail for his involvement.

While Lopez was with Combs on the night of the Dec. 27, 1999 shooting at the former Club New York, she was not called as a witness to the criminal trial of either Combs or Barrow.

Leonardo Dicaprio created Pong?

Check out this clip from maniaTV’s Arcade: War Room – a web series about “four guys who know everything about video games.” The topic of discussion this week was a debate about Leonardo DiCaprio playing Atari's creator Nolan Bushnell on the big screen. Leonardo Dicaprio playing the guy who brought the world Pong?
I can't believe they are actually making a feature film about the guy who created Atari!

Fawcett-O'Neal son pleads guilty to drug charges

Redmond O'Neal, 23, son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett (and Tatum O'Neal's half-brother), pled guilty to two counts of felony drug possesssion and one count of misdemeanor driving under the influence yesterday, Jane Robison of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said.

A second DUI charge was tossed, per O'Neal's plea deal agreement that allowed him to avoid serving time behind bars.

Malibu Superior Court justice Lawrence J. Mira sentenced O'Neal to three years of probation and ordered him into drug rehabilitation until a July 9 hearing.

Afterwards, a court will determine if he can enter the state's drug-diversion program for the two felony counts. He was also ordered to pay $1,688 in restitution and fines for the DUI.

The charges stem from a Jan. 26 arrest when O'Neal was pulled over for speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway and heroin and crystal meth were found in his possession.

According to People, O'Neal has a history of drug abuse and went to rehab in 2004 to address his heroin addiction.

No wedding for Joel & Nicole

Joel Madden recently told People that he and girlfriend Nicole Richie have no plans to get married.

We don't have any plans for that right now," Madden said. "We're just happy, and we're being a family, and that's where we're at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone."

The Good Charlotte frontman said he and Richie are concentrating on their new daughter for the moment.

"Right now we're really happy and we're concentrating on our family, and that's what is making us happy right now," he said. "We're moving at our own pace."

Uma Thurman is engaged

Uma Thurman and her boyfriend, Arpad "Arki" Busson are engaged, the actress' rep told People.

"I can confirm she is engaged," Stephen Huvane said.

Swiss multimillionaire Busson reportedly gave Thurman a ring with an 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones.

Although Thurman lives in New York and Busson lives in London, the two have been dating for about a year.

It will be third marriage for Thurman, whose ex-husbands are Ethan Hawke and Gary Oldman. She has two children from her relationship with Hawke. Busson also has two kids from his prior marriage to supermodel Elle Macpherson.

The couple has not yet set a date for their wedding.

Madonna & Guy: Headed For Divorce?

Reports are swirling about concerning trouble in paradise with Madge and her husband of eight years, Guy Ritchie. Madonna has reportedly seen a divorce attorney to seek advice about the state of her marriage, reports The Times of London.

Perez Hilton just recently stated on his blog that Madonna was seen in NYC just today without her wedding ring. There are reports everywhere about the tension that has existed between the pair lately and they may be headed for splitsville.

The reason? Rumors that Madonna and Guy Ritchie could be on the rocks due to disagreeing about adoption. Friends close to the couple have said Ritchie would only consider adopting another child once David had fully settled into their lives, but Madonna apparently does not share his cautious attitude.

Madonna and Ritchie apparently did not have a prenuptial agreement either. WHOA, this could mean big bucks. When contacted about all the speculation, her rep said: "No comment at this time, darling."

Christina Aguilera Who?

We haven't heard from this one in awhile! Christina Aguilera paid a visit to Larry King Live to talk about her latest venture. Nope, sorry fans, not a new album. She's rocking the vote! Six months ago, Aguilera welcomed the birth of her first child, Max. When asked if she wants more kids outside the show, she replied, “Oh, eventually (I want another baby), yes. Absolutely. Motherhood comes naturally to me. I think a whole new confidence comes with being a mother.”

For now, she's tackling motherhood and getting people to vote! Check out her appearance on CNN below and listen to what Christina is saying, vote people!

What Becks Says About The Billboards!

David Beckham is finally speaking out about those huge billboards of his half naked self plastered all over U.S. cities! These pictures are the newest for his endorsement for Emporio Armani underwear. Here's his blog post from today!

"Well I’m sure you’ve seen the pictures but last Thursday I went to San Francisco to see the unveiling of the new Emporio Armani campaign I shot a while back. To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macy’s department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it! I’m always surprised by the amount of attention certain things create, but the attention this campaign has created is pretty incredible. It was great to meet some of the people who’d come out especially though, I’ve always wanted to visit San Francisco, so it was a great to finally get there...Moving onto the football - Saturday’s game was a bit of a disappointment to say the least. We were 2-0 up and playing at home, so we should have closed out the game, but credit to Columbus Crew, they came back at us and forced a draw. We did get a point, but it feels like a loss to be honest. We need to make our stadium a fortress and win our games there and not give anything away, not just in defence, but also from the forwards and the midfield. At the moment it’s just the consistency, it’s all about finishing off teams and holding onto leads. Sometimes it just needs a bit of calmness. It’s all a learning process and we will get better, it’s just about getting the mix right. That’s all for now, David"

U.S. Supreme Court Rules: Guns Are Okay

The Supreme Court said on today that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting, the justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.

Justice Antonin Scalia said the Constitution does not permit "the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home." I'm not going to lie here, this makes me a little nervous.

Christian Bale Talks About Heath Ledger: Dark Knight Interview Exclusive

Actor Christian Bale, the star of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, revealed some deep thoughts about his late co-star Heath Ledger in the new issue of Parade.

Your co-star Heath Ledger, who plays The Joker, died tragically after the film wrapped. Do you mind talking about him? No, listen, I want to talk about Heath. When you miss somebody, you want to speak about him. He was a unique character, a very infectious character. He was a good man, and I was glad to have spent time with him. He was somebody who I’d been seeing on a daily basis for months. It takes a long time to accept that someone’s gone, when all body and mind are telling you that this is somebody you will know for a great deal of time. He was something of a kindred spirit to myself.

It must be difficult. Much of it has to do with my respect for his daughter, whom he loved so dearly and whom he would talk about so often. For me, that is of incredible importance. I hope in a small way that The Dark Knight can be a celebration of his work. Not like the hideous circus after he died, which I felt was an invasion of a private life. This movie is not a personal home video. This is what he did. I hope people will embrace that in the correct fashion.

Will Ferrell Rocks Pablo Cruise T-Shirt

When Cory Lerios was told that his group's T-shirt, adorned with its iconic sun and palm tree logo, was being worn by Will Ferrell and prominently featured in a trailer for Step Brothers, he didn't know how to react.

Although Lerios had previously given Sony Studios permission to use the T-shirt, he had no idea how prominently it would be featured in the movie, which opens nationally July 25, after Ferrell reportedly picked it out from a wardrobe rack.

“We were amazed at how much Will was wearing it in the trailer,” said Cory, who formed the band in 1973 in San Francisco with guitarist/vocalist David Jenkins, drummer Steve Price and bassist Bud Cockrell. “When I started getting calls from people in the industry, friends and fans, saying you need to jump on this, I’m thinking jump on what?…”it’s just a shirt for God’s sake, but then again, it is like an ad for Pablo Cruise.” So, Dave and Cory decided to hunt down the exact jersey Will Farrell is wearing in the movie (it’s vintage Pablo Ware) and have a bunch made and at the very least spread ‘em around!

In fact, the first 30 legitimate members of the media who reply to this press release will receive a vintage Pablo Cruise T-shirt, like the one worn by Ferrell in the movie, which is sure to make you the envy of your friends.

The logo, which is a classic brand in itself, adorned the covers of the band’s 1977 breakthrough, platinum A&M album A Place in The Sun, as well as their ’78 Top 10 double platinum Worlds Away and the 1981 Reflector, showcasing the music’s carefree sun and fun vibe, equal parts the Beach Boys, Loggins & Messina and Jimmy Buffett. The group scored Top 10 singles with “Whatcha Gonna Do?” and “Love Will Find a Way,” and Top 20 hits with “I Want You Tonight” and “Cool Love” and “Don’t Want To Live Without It.”

The exposure couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, since original members, Cory Lerios (keyboards, vocals), David Jenkins (guitar, vocals) and Stephen Price (Drums) recently decided to get back together, play some shows and connect with their many, many fans once again, just for the fun of it!

“The reaction has been awesome,” says Jenkins. “We’ve been enjoying it so much, we have decided to continue. The old fans are turning out and now they’re bringing their kids with them and the kids are responding as if they’ve discovered their favorite new band.” Pablo has been playing fairs, casino’s and some selected smaller theaters and clubs and the “band is better than ever!” says Lerios. And, more importantly, “we’re having a great time.”

Both Lerios and Jenkins (Pablo’s songwriters) have stayed busy in the music world over their years away from the band. Lerios, for one, has stayed extremely busy for past 20 years as an Emmy Award-winning TV theme and score composer, working on such shows as Max Headroom, Days Of Our Lives, Disney’s Kim Possible and, for 12 years, one of the biggest shows ever to hit television, Baywatch. Jenkins scored a couple of #1 hits in the Country Music World with Southern Pacific (made up of members from the Doobie Bros. and Creedence Clearwater Revival) and he currently tours all over the U.S. with “Rock and Pop Masters,” when not Pabloizing!

The band’s “Love Will Find a Way,” was recently featured in one of CBS’s new, and much heralded, primetime shows, “Swingtown.” The pilot episode was entitled “Love will find a Way” as well. The band is currently in the works, planning their own reality based internet TV show entitled, “Pablo Cruise Tube.” to be filmed at Cory’s studio in Southern California.

“Pablo Cruise is still very vital,” says Dave. “We enjoy getting out there and playing. And if people are curious about us again because of the T-shirt, it’s a good thing and if their curiosity brings them out to see us live, they’ll be glad they did and….we’ll make ‘em a hell-of-a-deal on a shirt!”

“Having not been on the road for so many years, I didn’t really realize how much our music has meant to our fans,” adds Cory. “People literally come from across the country to see us, with vinyl records to sign and great stories about the first time they heard us. I think the fact that we haven’t been out playing for the last 20 years is working to our advantage and the music’s still feels fresh because we haven’t beaten it to death over the years,” says Lerios.

John Mayer's No Heartbreaker!

Musician John Mayer recently spoke openly to the Telegraph’s Seven magazine about his 'lady's man' reputation. John has been linked to the likes of Jessica Simpson (pictured to the left), Minka Kelly (pictured below), Jennifer Love Hewitt and now Jennifer Aniston. He revealed some pretty interesting facts about his love life.

Mayer stated, “Instead of worrying about career damage, I've dated women. All I've ever done was decided that I fancied somebody, and said, ‘Would you like to go out and get a meal somewhere?’ And done so in a social setting, where other people can see you. And then maybe ‘Would you like to go have another meal?’ Maybe did that a few times.”
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that tactic to me, the man is trying to be normal!

Mayer continued on about breaking up with these women and said, “When I realized that I didn't wanna wrong anybody by continuing, (I) said, ‘I'd rather be a great friend to you than a bad boyfriend." He is putting rumors to rest by honestly declaring, “I swear to God, I have a really good track record!”

Right now, this claim of future wedding bells is just a rumor that is starting to circulate, keep your ears and eyes open!

Jessica Biel @ LAX.

Actress Jessica Biel was seen at LAX airport hopping a flight to... somewhere. She didn't look too pleased as the papz swarmed around her, flashing their cameras.

Poor Brooke Hogan

Brooke Hogan recently revealed to Us Weekly magazine how she feels about all the drama surrounding her family lately and her mother's new relationship. Let's face it, Linda Hogan has become, well, a cougar. Brooke told the mag how she feels about her mom dating former classmate, 19-year old Charley Hill:

“Honestly, I don’t know what to say because I can’t relate to her right now. I’m extremely shocked. I know if I was 48-years-old, I wouldn’t date a 19-year-old. I just don’t feel it’s her. And through all this stuff, I really need my mom, and she’s doing her own thing. I don’t talk to her anymore. I see her at the jail visiting Nick and she asks me why. I say, ‘I don’t condone what you’re doing. I’m on my path, and you’re on your path.’ I told her, ‘I’d love to have you in my life, to see you and talk to you, but the kind of things you’re surrounding yourself with, it doesn’t make sense to me.”

Imus Runs His Mouth... Again

A little over a year after Don Imus lost his show over comments made about the Rutgers women's basketball team, he made a controversy comment about racial profiling Monday.

The radio show host said he was making "a sarcastic comment" about how police unfairly target blacks when he asked about Adam "Pacman" Jones's race on the show. He said that his comment was meant to defend and not offend Jones.

Imus claims that people are "out to get him" after the Rutgers controversy.

"No man has more discussions about race than I have," he said. "Why not report on that? I know some people want to get me, but this is ridiculous."

Imus pointed out that his show has two black co-hosts.

Jones, a Dallas Cowboy defensive back, has been arrested six times since he was drafted in 2005 and is currently suspended from the National Football League.

The controversy was sparked Monday morning while Imus was speaking with sportscaster Warner Wolf.

"He's been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005," Wolf said.

"What color is he?" Imus asked.

"He's African-American," Wolf responded.

"Well, there you go," Imus said. "Now we know."

During his Tuesday morning show, the radio host said Jones was arrested six times because police were "picking on him."

"He's a football player. He is a lovely kid. He was out there having fun," Imus said.

Imus said he was defending blacks with his Monday remarks.

"What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason, and I mean there's no reason to arrest this kid six times," he said. "They shoot blacks for no reason."

Rev. Al Sharpton, who called for Imus' firing over the Rutgers comments, said that he hopes that the host's reasoning for his comments is sincere.

Sharpton said he thought Monday's remark was disturbing "given Imus' background and his track record."

"If now Imus is saying he's joined the ranks of those that are raising the question of racial disparity in the criminal justice system, then he's taking a correct position," Shapton said. "I don't have any record of him saying that in the past."

PCM Quote To Enjoy!

It's all about brotherly love! Actor Ben Affleck recently complimented the talents of his younger brother and fellow actor, Casey Affleck.

Ben said, “People have been telling me for years now – ‘Casey’s cooler than you,’ ‘Casey’s a better actor than you! I’ve always known about the acting thing – I mean come on, I peaked in Good Will Hunting – but I would just laugh in people’s faces when they said he was cooler. He’s so scrawny, and kinda funny looking. But the more I see these movies, the more I realize… He’s sneaky cool!”

New Muppet Movie In The Works...

"It's time to play the music,
It's time to light the lights,
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight..."

Forgetting Sarah Marshall star/writer Jason Segel has been contracted to write Disney's upcoming Muppet movie. I am so excited about this story! Muppet movies are the best, aren't they?

Segal revealed in an interview recently that the movie is going to go back to the traditional Muppet storyline. "We are trying to bring it back to the early '80s movies where it's not Muppets in the Sahara or Muppets Underwater. It's the Muppets getting back together to put on a show, to save the studio.” I think that is a really smart move.

Bad News For 'The Love Guru'

Mike Myers, Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake did not have a good box office weekend. Sorry, guys! The new Mike Myers comedy didn't attract very many movie goers and reports are claiming that every movie Justin Timberlake appears in doesn't do so well! How could they say such a thing about Justin?! Sadly.. it may be the truth!

The Love Guru was beat badly by the Steve Carrell and Anne Hathaway movie, Get Smart. It only took in about $14 million in revenue this weekend, whereas Get Smart is projected to make around $40 million.

Myers is being called a diva as well. While promoting the film on the Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Mike Myers made demands of backstage staffers for Silk nondairy creamer, Twizzlers and raspberry seltzer; he sent one of the interns back when it was not the seltzer brand he wanted.

Lance Armstrong - The Playboy

I love this picture! The NY Times recently published an article about the playboy status of bicycle champion, Lance Armstrong. Besides beating cancer and being an amazing athlete, Lance doesn't have much trouble in the lady department either.

Lance has been featured in many tabloids over the past year or two pictured with various Hollywood starlets. People.com even called him, "a notorious Texas playboy."

Lance has been previously linked to Sienna Miller, Mary-Kate Olsen, Sheryl Crow and his latest romantic tie is to actress Kate Hudson. Chances are you will be able to find stories and pictures easily of Lance convorting around town with a new lady on his arm but do read the Times article (at the link above) and check out the juicy gossip!

Kim Kardashian Is A Cutter

Looks like Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, pictured here at the Hancock movie premiere in London, thinks that she deserves that extra-special celeb treatment. She recently cut the line of an L.A. Starbucks and justified her actions by reportedly claiming to the ticked-off patrons in line that she was in a rush. She simply walked right up to the counter and started ordering.

"She said she had to get in and out quickly because there were photographers waiting outside to take her picture and she needed to rush back out," says an eyewitness at the Starbucks on June 1st. Oh, Kim, have some manners!

Comedian George Carlin Obituary

Legendary comedian George Carlin, 71, passed away Sunday evening from heart failure. His publicist, Jeff Abraham, said he went to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica that afternoon after experiencing chest pain. He had performed only the weekend before at Las Vegas' Orleans Casino and Hotel.

"He was a genius and I will miss him dearly," Carlin's 1960s comedian partner, Jack Burns, told The Associated Press.

Carlin was well-known for his risque humor, particularly the routine "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television." He said all those words at a 1972 Milwaukee show, leading to his arrest on charges of disturbing the peace. A Wisconsin judge later dismissed the case due to free speech, although he did say the routine was indecent.

Later the seven words were played on a New York radio station, leading to a 1978 Supreme Court ruling that said the government had the right to sanction media for obscenity during hours when children might be listening. All of the words Carlin uttered are now taboo on broadcast television and radio.

"So my name is a footnote in American legal history, which I'm perversely kind of proud of," Carlin told The Associated Press earlier this year.

Carlin hosted the debut of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' in 1975, and he also produced 23 comedy albums, four of which won Grammy Awards for best spoken comedy album. He had 13 HBO specials, several TV shows, a couple of film appearances and three books to his name, as well.

He was nominated for five Emmy Awards, and last Tuesday he was proclaimed a recipient of the 11th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The award will be presented in Washington Nov. 10, and it will be broadcast on PBS.

Carlin is survived by his second wife, Sally Wade; his daughter, a son-in-law, his brother and sister-in-law. His first wife, Brenda, passed away in 1997.

New Hugh Hefner book

A new book about Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is about to be released - and everything in it is true. Hefner reportedly cooperated with author Steven Watts for Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream.

"This is the most authoritative book ever written about me... It's all essentially true," Hefner said.

According to one celebrity blogger, allegations in the book include that Hefner has engaged in gay sex and also once had a foursome with his wife, his brother and his sister-in-law.

The book is set to be released October 6, 2008. A description of it states:

"In this wise and penetrating biography, intellectual historian Steven Watts looks at what Hugh Hefner went onto become, and how he took America with him. Hefner became one of the most hated and envied celebrities in America, dating a long list of his magazine's beauties and always standing just barely on the wrong side of decency and moral uprightness."

Amy Winehouse has emphysema

Amy Winehouse has been in the hospital undergoing tests due to her fainting episode last week, and her father, Mitch, said she is suffering from the early stages of emphysema.

"With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up," he told the U.K.'s Sunday Mirror. "The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She's got 70 percent lung capacity.

"It's in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month they painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe."

Mitch Winehouse said his daughter has serious health problems, including an irregular heartbeat, but that tests ruled out the possibility of tuberculosis.

"When we got to the hospital a room was ready," he told the paper. "Several doctors came in and checked to make sure she didn't need any emergency treatment. They put her on a drip straight away because she was dehydrated. She said, 'Don't worry about me, dad. I know I've got to stop taking drugs now.'"

The elder Winehouse said Amy had been awake for two straight days prior to her hospitalization. She slept for three days straight after she was admitted.

She is scheduled to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthdays concert in London and at the Glastonbury Festival this month. Her spokesperson said Winehouse plans to perform as long as her doctors give their permission.

"At present she still intends to perform at her two scheduled dates next week," her spokesperson said. "However the decision will be made entirely on the advice of her doctors and in her best interests. Amy has undergone more scans and tests and we are awaiting the verdict of her doctors."

Mitch Winehouse said he believes it would be good for his daughter to perform.

"When she's been inactive work-wise then that's when the problems really start. The doctors have said that medically there isn't any reason why she can't do Glastonbury," he told the Sunday Mirror.

Camp Rock[s] Ratings

The Disney Channel's Friday night premiere of the Cinderella-like "Camp Rock" drew in 8.9 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Tweens, or those between 9- and 14-years of age made up 3.4 million of the viewers.

"Camp Rock" became Disney's second-most-watched TV movie of all time, right behind last summer's "High School Musical 2," which had 17.2 million viewers, making it the all-time most-watched entertainment telecast on basic cable.

However, "Camp Rock" did beat the 7.8 million viewers of the original "High School Musical."

The newest Disney made-for-TV movie will be rebroadcast on ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" on Saturday and on ABC Family on Sunday.

The film stars newcomer Demi Lovato, pegged as the next Miley Cyrus, as a girl who can only afford to attend a summer music camp after her mother gets a job working in the kitchen. It also features the Jonas Brothers, who have just released their new single, "Burning Up," from their upcoming album, A Little Bit Longer.

Naomi Campbell blames air rage on racist slur

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who pled guilty to assault in an "air rage" incident, said racist comments by British Airways crew were the impetus of her attack.

"I was called a racial name on that flight," Campbell told Sky News. "I was called a golliwog supermodel, I don't think that's really fair do you? Would you like it if someone turned round and called you a golliwog supermodel?"

She declined to state who made the alleged slur, but did say it was a British Airways worker, not another passenger.

Campbell said that she did not address the alleged comments in court or in her statement because, "...at the end of the day the real problem was, I took my upset and my, the end of my wrath came out on the police, which was wrong."

British Airways released a statement denying the accusation.

"British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism. We are proud of our diversity," the statement said. "We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programs on diversity and inclusion."

Campbell was convicted Friday and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid community service for assaulting two police officers (who were attempting to escort her off the airplane) and a public order offense. She was also ordered to pay compensations to one of the police officers and the captain of the plane, as well as a fine.

It will not be Campbell's first time performing community service for her temper. Just last year she spent five days in New York doing janitorial-type work as part of a sentence for throwing her cell phone at a housekeeper over an argument about a pair of jeans.

She also pled guilty to assault in 2000, in yet another incident involving a telephone.

Warrant out for Katie Couric to pay bill

Katie Couric reportedly earns $15 million a year as anchor of CBS Evening News. But the preternaturally perky newswoman failed to pay a bill for $210.41 in 2003, and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has issued a warrant for her.

Her rep, Matthew Hiltzik, told the New York Daily News that the debt was a minor oversight because her bills were being sent to an old address. Hiltzik added that Couric will settle the matter when she returns from vacation.

In other news about Couric, she has been honored by the National Organization for Women (NOW) for her work as a "groundbreaking anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News."

Senior director of Issues Analysis for Focus on the Family Action, Carrie Gordon Earll, said Couric's acceptance of the award speaks to her journalistic credibility.

"NOW's agenda is very clear - it is pro-homosexual, pro-abortion and anti-male," Earll said. "Couric is giving her personal and professional approval of this radical agenda by accepting this award."

50 Cent to 99 Cent?

50 Cent is involved in yet another feud, this time with fast food giant Taco Bell.

The chain offered the rapper a deal: $10,000 to the charity of his choice if he changed his moniker to 79, 89 or 99 Cent (he could choose which one) to promote Taco Bell's value menu. Fiddy would also make an appearance at a Taco Bell and order drive-thru via a rap.

The proposal was sent to the rapper, as well as the press, via a letter that read: "We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change. We encourage you to 'Think Outside the Bun' and hope you accept our offer."

The rapper not only declined the offer, but he also threatened to involve his lawyers.

"When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: 'We messed with the bull and got the horns!' " 50 Cent said.

His rep also complained about the chain's proposal.

"This is a sleazy and ill-conceived publicity stunt by Taco Bell's president, Greg Creed, whose disingenuous offer was leaked to the press before it was even presented to 50 Cent's agent yesterday," he said.

Toilet Paper Dresses

Six stunning wedding dresses went on display in New York's Times Square on Thursday. The catch -- the dresses were made entirely of toilet paper.

Tourists gawked at the dresses that were displayed at the "odditorium" at Ripley's Believe It Or Not! The designers squared off for the top prize of $1,000 judged by Charmin and Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com.

Katrina Chalifoux of Rockford, Ill. won this year's competition. She spent two weeks creating a sheath dress with raised floral patterns from molded toilet paper.

This was the annual contest's fourth year running.

Jamie Lynn's baby photos

Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge just welcomed daughter Maddie Briann yesterday, but already there are rumors of a possible baby photo bidding war.

A source told the National Ledger last week: "Casey wants to marry Jamie Lynn before the baby is born so he can have some control over the rights to the baby's first photos that will be sold. He wants to be in on any money deals that are made by Jamie Lynn and her mom."

According to reports, Spears' mother, Lynne, is working on brokering a deal for exclusive rights to the first pictures of the newborn. One entertainment blog has suggested the photos are worth at least seven figures.

Possible bidders have not been disclosed, but the former star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" revealed her pregnancy to OK! magazine and confirmed the baby's birth to People.

Meanwhile, OK! has also officially announced that Spears did not have a C-section as previously reported, but rather gave birth naturally and had no complications. Maddie Briann weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. at her 9:33 a.m. birth on June 20.

Friends and family members of the 17-year-old have been given the new mom their congratulations and support

"She's awfully young to be a momma," said Margie Busby, a distant cousin of Spears. "But that's what they make [grandmothers] for. They have to help. That's the way it is with our circle of friends."

Relative Charlie Spears said he hoped Spears and Aldridge would be good parents.

"It's easy to have them, but hard to raise them," he said. "I hope she's healthy, and I hope they raise a good baby."

Teen Pregnancy Pact

A new article in TIME magazine revealed an epidemic of teen pregnancy at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Mass. Reporter Kathleen Kingsbury discovered that out of the 17 girls who became pregnant this year, half were sophomores who made a pact to get pregnant and raise their children together.

The 15- and 16-year-old girls were primarily impregnated by their boyfriends; however, in one instance a 24-year-old homeless man was identified as the father.

The Today Show examined the story this morning and spoke with Kingsbery and 18-year-old Gloucester teen mom Christen Callahan, among others. "You lose everything," Callahan told Today host Meredith Vieira.

Matthew McConaughey Drunk in Nicaragua

This guy isn't the charming southern gentleman we all remember from movies like How To Loose A Guy in 10 Days and Fool's Gold, is it? Actor Matthew McConaughey let loose at a bar in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.

His pregnant fiancee, Camila Alves, was not in Nicaragua at the time. McConaughey must have taken advantage of the situation because he reportedly arrived to the bar already drunk and continued drinking the night away. Sources from Star Magazine claimed that he was also hitting on many women, “throwing his arms around them and trying to kiss them, and trying to dirty-dance with a few out on the floor.” He continued to stumble around the bar and slur his words as the night went on. Not classy, Mr. McConaughey.

The New York Daily News received an e-mail wherein Matthew denied that he was flirting with women at the bar but fessed up to the rest of his boozing behavior. He wrote, “Drunk? Absolutely. Nicaragua is a beautiful place, epic waves, the best surfing I have ever been on. And, yes, I'm STILL looking for my left flip-flop. So if anyone finds it floating around down there (it has 6:22 stitched into the side), please send it my way. There is a reward.”

Vatican Bans Tom Hanks

The Vatican was blunt with this decree. Filming of the new Dan Brown based film Angels & Demons has been completely barred from filming in Catholic churches.

The Diocese of Rome has banned the movie from filming inside its churches because it "does not conform to our views," says spokesman Monsignor Marco Fibbi.

Angels & Demons is the prequel to 2006's The DaVinci Code. Hanks reprises his role from the first film as Harvard professor Robert Langdon, an expert on symbols who uncovered a conspiracy involving the marriage of Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ.

Billy Ray on Miley's Vanity Fair shoot, again

Billy Ray Cyrus was on The Today Show this morning, and again he spoke up about daughter Miley's controversial Vanity Fair cover shoot. Just last week the country singer likened famed photographer Annie Liebovitz, who snapped the pictures for the magazine, to a paparazzo.

Cyrus made his first televised comments about the photo shoot, although the purpose of his Today Show appearance was to promote NBC's Nashville Star. Cyrus told show anchor Meredith Vieira that was not on the set at the time.

"I didn't know they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket," Cyrus said. "I was surprised when I saw [the photo] ... but, hey, that's life. Stuff happens."

Cyrus said he could not prevent the shoot and did not think to complain.

"I didn't have any choice," he said. "I had a show to do, and an obligation, to go to Washington state ... playing for the troops just back from Iraq."

Miley Cyrus later apologized for the photo, where she appeared draped in a sheet on the cover of the magazine. But some people were also disturbed by a picture inside the magazine, showing Miley and her dad in a perhaps amorous pose.

"That's just a daddy who loves his daughter a whole lot," he said.

Coldplay plagiarism controversy

The Brooklyn band Creaky Boards made this YouTube video that accuses Coldplay of plagiarizing their song, "The Song I Didn't Write." The band said the melody of "Viva La Vida" is the same as that of their tune.

Take a listen and see what you think.

"Viva La Vida" is on track to become UK's No. 1 single. In addition, early sales numbers predict the Coldplay album Viva La Vida will also debut at No. 1, a first for the group.

Coldplay singer Chris Martin recently spoke to John Kennedy's X-posure show about the meaning behind the album's title. In the interview, which will air tonight, Chris said:

"We refer to it just as 'Viva La Vida' but the other bit is if you find it too depressing you can call it 'Death and All His Friends' and if you find it not depressing you can call it 'Viva La Vida'.

"It's very much a 'you-decide-what-the-title-is'. We very much wanted to make it like those model airplanes that you buy and you can choose what colour you paint it."
