We are completely 100% for saving wildlife! So we want you to help us by promoting the newest exhibit at the Bronx Zoo right up the coast from us! Tell everyone about it! The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) opened up a spectacular exhibit at The Bronx Zoo featuring the wildlife of Madagascar. The new exhibit offers guests a breathtaking view of the world’s fourth largest island off Africa’s eastern coast and home to an amazing array of unique animals and plants. The exhibit features a wealth of wildlife diversity found in this island nation, sometimes called “the eighth continent.”

You can find cute and cuddly animal videos at the Wildlife Conservation Society's YouTube channel here. It's well worth poking around there, the animal videos are awesome!

The Official 2008 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge Champs Announced

Hey, Star Wars fans! You may remember the post from a week or two ago with the Star Wars spoof commercial. People really liked it! Well, The Official 2008 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge champions were announced in grand fashion at Comic-Con. They razzled, they dazzled and now they're at Atom.com for your viewing pleasure, and coming soon to Spike TV!

These short films really came out great and the directors and production teams have a lot to be proud of. For starters, check out Padme, the George Lucas Selects Award winner.

“FLY ME TO THE MOON” in theatres August 15th!

In this groundbreaking 3-D animated adventure, three young flies set off on a courageous mission to become the first insects on the moon by hitching a ride on the historic Apollo 11 space flight. Based on the actual transcripts and the original blueprints from NASA, the film’s stunning visuals and meticulous attention to detail introduce a whole new generation to the awe-inspiring achievements of the space program’s most momentous mission.

The year is 1969 and like everyone else in the world, Nat (Trevor Gagnon) and his pals IQ (Philip Daniel Bolden) and Scooter (David Gore) are abuzz over the upcoming launch of the first manned mission to the moon. Inspired by his Grandpa’s (Christopher Lloyd) oft-told tale of hiding aboard Amelia Earhart’s plane during her famed solo cross-Atlantic flight, Nat hatches a secret plan for the three young flies to stow away on the Apollo 11 rocket. The hard part is keeping the plan secret from his mom, Mrs. McFly (Kelly Ripa)! When a N.A.S.A. Ground Control official catches sight of the three winged stowaways, he instructs the astronauts to store them in a test tube for later study. But after an electrical short causes the ship’s engine to malfunction, the three intrepid insects manage to escape from their glass mini-brig just in time to discover the wiring problem and fix it.

After a difficult lunar landing, Nat tags along with Neil Armstrong on his legendary moon walk. Although the flies face a few more close calls, the mission appears to be a success. At least until Grandpa’s old flame Nadia (Nicolette Sheridan) arrives from Russia to warn him that her government, angry over losing the space race, has dispatched fly-spy Yegor (Tim Curry) to Cape Canaveral to sabotage the computer flight plans. With the Apollo hurtling toward Earth, it falls to Nat’s family to save the mission—and the trio of brave flies—from disaster.

Bad Mood Batman

With all the talk about his arrest and assault charges on his family, Christian Bale wasn't looking too happy when he was spotted back home in California. He's back home in America after a promotional tour around the world for The Dark Knight.

Yesterday, Bale was spotted out to lunch with his wife, Sibi, and her parents at a local neighborhood restaurant in Brentwood, California. Poor, Batman, things are going to well for him right now personally. However, financially, with the success of The Dark Knight, we're sure he's making bank!

Actor Rhys Ifans hates the paparazzi, he lost his patience and went all kung fu on the photogs! Ifans is the recent ex-boyfriend of British actress, Sienna Miller. He was apparently dumped by her earlier this summer.

The actor, best known for his role in “Notting Hill” was out with Kim Stewart, the daughter of Rod Stewart, at the Bungalow Eight night club when he lost his temper and gave them a good kicking!

Austin Powers 4 In The Works

Yeaaa, Baby, Yeaa! Mike Meyers has reportedly started writing a script for Austin Powers 4.

There's no deal in place yet but New Line is apparently really waiting for a script and getting something in the works for another installment of the film. The flick will be an homage to Meyers' father, says an insider, "It's very personal with a father and son theme loosely based on his own life."

Meyers has previously said that the fourth movie will focus on villain Dr. Evil. What do we think about Austin Powers #4? I definitely thought the movies were funny - it's been so long though, do we think people will still be into it?

Who's This Celebrity?

Christina Aguilera doesn't really look like herself with a head of newly crimped hair at a photo shoot in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old singer was among a host of stars including Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein to appear in a campaign to commemorate the Macy’s 150th birthday.

A few weeks after calling off his engagement to model Tiffany Lynn, Ashley Parker Angel was tied up in rumors that he was dating his new Hairspray co-star Ashley Parker Angel. That didn't take long!

Aubrey O'Day is slamming the In Touch report that she's “hooking up” with Parker Angel. "The story is completely false," O'Day, 24, tells Usmagazine.com.

"I am having a great time with my co-star on stage and there has never been a romantic relationship at all."

As for Ashley's broken relationship with his son's mother, Tiffany, his rep says, "The two remain close friends as they raise their two-year old son Lyric together."

Every Season to be Hills Last

Entertainment Weekly will give us an in depth look at TV's most scripted (and fantastic) reality show in an upcoming EW article They Shoot, Lauren Scores. But when will the show call it quits? Lauren Conrad says that every season she thinks it's the last, but creator Adam DiVello says he would love to see the show go til LC marries.

We can imagine having your life taped can be pretty exhausting. Lauren says "there are times when I’ve been filming where I wake up in the middle of the night and I think I’m being filmed" -- notice EW cover.

The article gives readers a taste of what it's like while filming on scene and at home with the girls.

Oh and just for fun, Heidi and Spencer refused to comment for the article after hearing that Lauren was on the cover. No wonder everyone hates them.

It was a Hollywood fairytale for Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Two young actors meet on the set of the romance picture they're filming, and they themselves fall in love.

But wait, this is Hollywood - town of Machiavellian back-stabbers, so of course it was no surprise when the two split over a year ago.

Now there are rumors that the former flame has gotten a new spark, and the two may be back together.

McAdams was spotted at Gosling's DJing gig at Hollywood's Green Room being more than just a friendly supporter.

An onlooker commented: “At first we thought Rachel was just there to support him as a friend but when he finished, they got very close and cosy then left together.”

Could this be a new page in the pair's notebook?

M.I.A's "Paper Planes" Gets High on iTunes.

M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes,” off her latest, Kala, jumps to #1 on iTunes electronic song chart and #18 on the iTunes singles chart after appearing in the trailer for ’ “Pineapple Express.” The movie stars Seth Rogan and James Franco and is out on Columbia Pictures August 6.

Previously landing at #73, “Paper Planes” sudden move to the Top15 is huge gain – do the math it’s like 5 times higher, or up like 125%. Artistically, Rhianna has been giving the song the stadium treatment, covering “Paper Planes” in the Glow in the Dark tour with Kanye West. To top it off KROQ has just added “Paper Planes” to their New Music Rotation.

Kala was voted #1 Album of the Year by numerous publications (including both Rolling Stone and Blender). Looks like M.I.A.’s chart numbers are suddenly synching with the critics ratings.

Pitt, Jolie Used In Vitro for Twins

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wanted kids, and they wanted them fast.

The couple already holds the land speed record for celebrity family expansion. And now we know their secret.

A well placed Pitt-Jolie source confirms suspicions that the couple used in vitro fertilization to conceive their newborn twins Knox and Vivienne.

"They both desperately wanted more babies soon," the source said.

Jolie used the procedure, which costs about $12,000 a pop, so "she wouldn't have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant," the source said. "She could just knock it out."

Jolie has openly stated that she wants more kids while her and Pitt are still young enough to cope with raising them.

"If we're going to have 10 kids, we'd like to raise them while we're young," the actress told British Elle last year.

Katy Perry vs. Miley Cyrus

Dude, we are seriously losing interest in Miley Cyrus and the stupid high school drama queen that she is becoming lately. First, her YouTube video ragging on other Disney tween stars and now her lack of sense of humor with Katy Perry, 23.

Katy Perry joked in a recent interview that she was hoping to do her own version of the infamous Madonna lesbian kiss with Miley Cyrus at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards.

"Maybe we'll have another Britney-Madonna moment on stage," Perry joked. "How hilarious would that be? Although I don't think it would help her career. However, it would definitely help mine!"

Miley then came back and told E!, "No thanks. She sang on my record. So I think she's kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds."

She said that?!?! Perry had worked with Cyrus on her new album, Breakout. When Katy Perry was told about what Miley said, she told PerezHilton.com, "6 weeks in a row at number one." Good for her, we are totally Team Katy on this one! The 2008 Teen Choice Awards will air August 4th on Fox. Guess we'll have to watch it to find out if the kiss ever goes down!

Plinko Is Accidently Rigged!

Problems and drama with the games over at the Price is Right! According to TMZ, the Plinko board had been rigged in order to film a commercial spot, so that the chip would fall into the $10,000 slot. The problem? No one remembered to "unrig" the board for the actual game show!

A female contestant made it up to the stage from Contestant's Row and was delighted to find out that her pricing game was to be Plinko. She was certainly even more delighted when her first two chips landed in the $10,000 spot! After a third chip brought her winnings to $30,000, producers realized what the problem was and halted the game. They restarted it and gave the contestant her chips back, and she ended up winning a measly $3,000 on the Plinko board.

But, out of the goodness of their hearts (and the wish to avoid a lawsuit), execs at The Price is Right decided to award the contestant her total winnings, $33,000. That was definitely the right thing to do.

Princeton Review Names Top Party Schools

The Princeton Review has released its yearly list of the top party schools in the country. The test prep company has released the results of its pseudo-scientific survey of 120,000 students at schools around the country, which asked questions about the amount of drug and alcohol use on campus, as well as the schools' attempts to combat binge drinking.

The result: The University of Florida in Gainesville seems to be the top place to go if you want to spend four years in college and remember none of it. They were awarded #1 party school nationwide. Here is the rest of the list.

James Bond Theme Duet

The newest James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, will have a brand-new theme song c/o Alicia Keys and the White Stripes' Jack White. (The soundtrack will be released by J Records on Oct. 28.)

The new track, "Another Way to Die," written by White, will be the first duet in Bond history. The movie hits theaters on November 7th.

Shia LaBeouf Update: Not At Fault For Crash

Shia LaBeouf was found not at fault for his early morning crash in Los Angeles, despite being cited for a DUI. LaBeouf, 22, was arrested after the collision around 3 a.m. Sunday. He had been at West Hollywood's Troubadour club before the crash. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf tells Us the actor "showed outward signs of intoxication."

“The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited,” said Sheriff Steve Whitemore. “They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault.”

Yesterday, Shia’s mom Shayna indicated that Shia was “fine” when she went to visit him at the hospital. LaBeouf was cited with a misdemeanor DUI and no changes will be made to that, Whitmore adds.

His Transformers co-star, Isabel Lucas, 23, was a passenger in his truck when the accident occurred. She was not seriously injured, but LaBeouf's rep said the the actor is "currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month."

LaBeouf opened up about his struggles with alcohol in September's Details. He had said. "I don't know how to have one drink." We feel terrible over his issues but we don't want him to ruin a career that could be really successful! Get help, Shia!

John Mayer Teams Up With TMZ

John Mayer teamed up with TMZ.com to hit the streets of NYC to spoof his fame and interact with tourists. Mayer played along with people on the streets and sang his songs in an attempt to get recognized. Surprisingly, not too many people bothered him while he was being followed by cameras. It looks like Mayer may be going with the, "if you can't beat em', join em,'" mentality. The video is great though, very entertaining. Check it out!

Jay-Z Finally Wearing Wedding Ring

Rapper and mogul Jay-Z donned his wedding ring in NYC Wednesday! The rapper, 38, was spotted wearing the jewelry while leaving his Tribeca apartment. He hasn't been seen ever publicly wearing the ring before. Jay-Z and Beyonce wed over three months ago in New York City.

Famous guests included Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as well as Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin. Jay-Z wearing his ring makes for our PCM Pic of The Day, so romantic!

Shark Takes Nibble Out Of Ryan Seacrest (How Fitting! Because It's Shark Week!)

Ryan Seacrest was taking a swim in the Pacific Ocean in Mexico on Sunday when he was bitten by a shark, he said on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday.

The "American Idol" host said he was "about eight feet out" when he felt something swim by him. Oh my gosh, I would completely freak out in the water!

"I thought it was a stick," he said. "I wasn't sure what had happened." Then, he said, "I saw it swim! He took a bite, and he left." Seacrest, 33, said the shark's tooth "wasn't a great thing to find. It was like finding a splinter!" Although he said he was "in pain," the "American Idol" host wasn't hurt too badly, but said he "needed to take an Advil."

Asked by his radio co-host if anyone else was bitten, Seacrest said: "No, just me, of course! There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!" HaHa, he doesn't have the best luck, I suppose. He's got so much money, he can go out and buy a shark if he wanted.

John Kerry: Party Animal?

Looking to be reelected for a fifth term in November, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) decided to reach the younger voters - with Bud light.

The senator, 64, was seen with some beer drinking college students. The students were reported to be sophomores and juniors, making them most likely under the legal drinking age. Was the senator getting his party on?

When rumors arose that he was partying with co-eds, his office issued this statement:

"Sen. Kerry and two friends left dinner at the Straight Warf restaurant on Nantucket and walked down the dock. A large group recognized Senator Kerry and asked if they could have a picture taken. The group came off the boat and onto the dock, took a couple of photos with Senator Kerry and his friends, and then Sen. Kerry and his two friends immediately walked away. End of story."

Who do you believe on this one? Judging by his eyes Kerry may have had a bit too much to drink, but his beer pong game will be off with such a rigid stance.

Splitsville: Population Lance and Kate

Yet another celebrity couple is calling it quits. Three months after they got together, Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson announced that they are ending their relationship.

A source said the two have not been any hostility between the two.

“There was no drama or ugliness – They just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness.”

Another PCM celebrity run-in!

PCM's Kristyn was recording the pop culture headlines at local Delaware radio station 93.7 WSTW, when the studio got a visit from songstress Keri Hilson. Keri's song "Energy" is on the verge of blowing up the charts, and she is best known for her collaboration with super-producer Timbaland on the track "The Way I Are" ! "Energy" is the first single off her upcoming album due in stores September 23rd. I asked Keri if she had any plans for the next single and she said "there are definitely some things in the works and ideas are swirling around". It will definitely be produced by Timbaland. I also found out that Keri does have some touring planned to support the new album, so be on the look-out for her to hit the road with Robin Thicke next month.

Bennigan's Chain Closes Nationwide

Company owned Bennigan's Restaurants are closing down nationwide. Independently owned franchises will remain open.

Bennigan's spokeswoman Leah Templeton said Bennigan's and Steak and Ale restaurants – both of which are owned by Plano, Texas-based Metromedia Restaurant Group – have filed for bankruptcy, along with the holding company S&A Restaurant Corp.

Not all stores bearing the Bennigan's name have filed for bankruptcy, Templeton said. Independently owned franchise locations are not named as debtors in the bankruptcy claim and are not affected.

Sources say that restaurant manager's were suddenly notified at midnight of the closing and told not to open the next day.

The Bennigan's website has not made any indication of the closing, still advertising the Jameson barbecue menu and other specials.

A Crash From The Past

This Fall you will definitely notice a commonality between the season's trends, they're all depressing. H&M, Banana Republic, and Gap are featuring distinct trends and styles of the Great Depression. Pieces like pencil skirts, vintage dresses, conductor caps, and that depression color, gray, will reflect that urban poverty look aka the "newsboy". The boyish look consists of pin strips, baggy pants, vests, and a cap and can probably been seen in pieces of many looks this season.

It seems as though both fashion and the economy are on rotation. So it's not surprising when the economy hits the low now, like it did in the 30s, fashion will instinctively follow suit.

Universal Studios Hosts Horror Film Contest

“Where Nightmares Come Alive” is the theme for Universal Studios Hollywood’s first Halloween short film competition, a virtual film festival timed to coincide with the launch of the annual Halloween Horror Nights event that will invade the Entertainment Capital of L.A. for 13 nights this October.

Prospective filmmakers are invited to submit 90 seconds to three minute film shorts on DVD that support the theme, “Where Nightmares Come Alive.” Selected films will be judged by a panel of horror industry professionals including director Eli Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever) and actor Bill Moseley (Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Devil’s Rejects) as well as Universal Studios Hollywood executives. Criteria will be suspense, relevance to theme and overall “chill” factor. The top 10 shorts will be posted online from September 10 – 22 for public voting. Additional information on rules and regulations is available online at www.HalloweenHorrorNights.com/Nightmares. All entries must be received by September 3, 2008.

The winning “Where Nightmares Come Alive” film will be announced on September 25th and the filmmaker(s) will enjoy a screening at Halloween Horror Nights “Eyegore Awards” ceremony in front of celebrities, studio executives and media, tickets to the event and a $1,000.00 cash prize. 'The Hulk' Premieres in Japan

"The Incredible Hulk” has been out in the U.S. for a little while now, but the Japanese got their first look at the comic book movie earlier today (July 29) at the big Tokyo premiere. They even had a green carpet at the premiere, how fitting!

Liv Tyler and Ed Norton were there to promote the flick, Liv Tyler wins the award for the classiest actress to me! She looked great in a strapless black floral print dress teamed with a pair of strappy black heels. So cute!

The movie hasn't done that well here in The States, it certainly hasn't had the effect that The Dark Knight is having at the box office. We're sure The Hulk fans are satisfied with it, though.

McGrath Out! Lopez In!

Mario Lopez, 34, who's served as a correspondent for the syndicated entertainment newsmagazine and co-hosted its weekend edition since January 2007, will take over from co-hosts Mark McGrath and Dayna Devon, the producers of "Extra" announced Monday.

Senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey says, "[Mario Lopez] has established himself as a highly engaging, likeable and sought-after host and personality."

Mark McGrath is OUT of Extra. And Mario Lopez is really blowing up these days. The rocker turned celeb news show host is going back to focusing on his band, Sugar Ray, who is set to release a new album.

When the show returns for its 15th season next month, co-host Dayna Devon, who's been with the show since 1999, is also getting a a demotion- she will remain on as "a special correspondent." She'll basically be Lopez's back-up. Sucks for her!

Pitt and Jolie Pick Godfather

The Pitt-Jolies have yet to reveal the twins to the world, but they wasted no time in revealing who their godfather will be. Here's a hint... it'll be a "beautiful day" when the twins are christened.

The Naked Cowboy's San Francisco Adventure

According to the New York Post, New York City's most famous street performer, The Naked Cowboy, was arrested in San Francisco late last week. Robert Burck, wearing his usual skin-tight undies, cowboy boots and hat was given a citation for "violating a posted sign."
The arresting officer didn't recognize the NY celebrity, stating that Mr. Burck was violating the rules in Union Square by soliciting and playing an instrument.

PS: By "soliciting" they mean having a cup out to take tips/donations for his performance, and he claims he never touched the sign.

Don't Touch My Boobs, says Knightley

Keira Knightley has reportedly forbidden studio bosses from digitally enhancing her breasts in publicity photos for her new film The Duchess.

Knightley's chest got a famous boost in the poster for 2004's King Arthur. Back then Knightley said she "didn't give a sh*t," but apparently the actress has changed her mind.

A source close to the actress said: “She looks flat-chested in the whole movie; she has insisted that her figure stay in its natural state."

“She is proud of her body and doesn’t want it altered.”

Knightley has previously expressed her wish to have larger breasts.

”I would love to have boobs! I’m never going to get them. I’m naturally who I am.”

The Duchess is set for release in September.

Johnny Depp to Play Mad Hatter

Johnny Depp will be playing the Mad Hatter in a new version of Alice in Wonderland.

The film is directed by Tim Burton, who is putting a new angle on the classic children's tale.

“Tim has had designs on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ since before he was famous," a source said. “He has a knack for turning what seems like stories for just kids into gripping, spooky fables loved just as much by adults. He’s held out on doing ‘Alice’ until he got a big enough budget. Now this film is financed by Disney so money won’t be a problem.”

The film is slated for a 2010 release; it will be Depp and Burton's seventh collaboration.

Expecting!

Another couple is expecting! Congratulations to Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell. The pair are expecting their first child together.

Well, actually, there is more than one bun in the oven. Their rep confirmed this morning that they are going to be having twins. Man, everyone is having twins these days! The babies are due this winter.

K-Fed To Release Work-Out DVD

We're not lying. This could be seriously true. Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, 30, is set to make a fitness DVD! Oh man, this is good! The former back-up dancer is set to get back into shape after gaining quite a bit of weight. He said the reason was because of the "pressure of looking after my children." Kevin retained sole legal and physical custody of he and Britney's two young sons.

Kevin reportedly said, "I plan to get back to looking ripped and sexy again - I know I have let it all go but watch me fly this year."

Sorry, I never really did find K-Fed sexy to begin with! Did anyone? He is hoping to release the DVD in January 2009.

We spotted comedian/actress Wanda Sykes walking into George Michael's concert in Philadelphia, PA at the Wachovia Center on Saturday when we were there reviewing the show!

No one seemed to be bothering her or recognizing her, she walked in without signing autographs or being stopped by fans. But PCM's Kristyn and Julie totally recognized her and thought we should share it on our blog!

Batman Breaks More Records

In a Titanic feat The Dark Knight broke the $300 million mark domestically after grossing an estimated $75.6 million in its second weekend.

The film was initially predicted to ceiling at $400 million, a prediction that now seems overly conservative.

"Certainly, $400 million, boom, that's going to happen," Media by Numbers box office analyst Paul Dergarabedian said today.

"The trajectory it's on has never before been seen. This is absolutely unprecedented."

The Dark Knight's second-week sales was, per studio estimates, the largest ever, despite the nearly 50 percent loss in business.

So far The Dark Knight is the fastest growing film out there. According to Box Office Mojo, it's the fastest movie to reach $100 million (two days), $200 million (five days) and, as of today, $300 million (10 days).

At the moment The Dark Knight holds the number 23 spot for all time domestic box office sales. According to experts the film has a good change at beating out Titanic for the number one spot. Only $301 million left to go Batman. And they say we're in a recession?

Danity Kane is finally releasing a new single. I don't know about you but I am soooo sick of, "Damaged." The new Danity Kane “Bad Girl” music video featuriing Missy Elliott is below for your enjoyment. The video has a Sin City feel to it, you know? This song is the second track from their sophomore album, Welcome To The Dollhouse. I am not crazy about it, but they were definitely due for a new single. Thoughts?

Shia LaBeouf Busted For DUI (Nooooo!)

Why, why?! We love Shia LaBeouf, he's the next best thing! He's ruining his reputation and we don't approve! The Hollywood young actor Shia LaBeouf was busted by police in Los Angeles this morning for DUI and rushed to the hospital with injuries.

Shia was behind the wheel of a car that was in a crash around 3 A.M. on Sunday morning in Hollywood. LaBeouf and his passenger were taken to the hospital and treated for bruises and cuts. LaBeouf also reportedly had a more serious injury happen to his hand and had to get a bit of work done on that.

A spokesperson for the L.A.P.D. says it was clear to officers who responded to the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated, and he was subsequently arrested.

This isn't Shia's first run in with the law. Remember when he was arrested last year for acting the drunk fool at a Walgreen's in Chicago? OR when he was busted in the Valley for smoking illegally earlier this year? He really needs to get his act together. He has so much going for him!

Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized

The queen of drama and drugs, Lindsay Lohan, was taken to the hospital around 3 A.M last night after a close call with a motorcycle. The driver reportedly almost hit Lohan as she was leaving a dance club last night (with Samantha Ronson) and she was taken to the hospital.

TMZ reports that the motorcyclist actually DID hit Lohan. C'mon. Seriously? She was discharged about an hour after she was admitted to Beth Israel Medical Center. No harm done.

Take That Angelina Jolie

Finally, Jennifer Aniston came out on top. The actress makes more then Angelina Jolie and ex, Brad Pitt. According to Forbes, Aniston took in $27 million last year, while Pitt and Jolie took in $20 million and $14 million respectively. Score one for you Jenn.

Oprah was beaten out for the income top-spot by none other then Britain's favorite author J. K. Rowlings who raked in an impressive $300 million, to Oprah's $275 million. Surprisingly 50 Cent came in third with $150 million - that half-dollar must be made of solid platinum.

The top earning athlete was Tiger Woods with $115 million. Footballer David Beckham came in second with $50 million. Will Smith and Johnny Depp are on top for actors earning $85 million and $72 million respectively. For actresses Cameron Diaz made $50 million and Keira Knightly pulled in an impressive $32 million.

Andy Dick was arrested a while ago, wasted out of his mind, but no one was there with a camera. Well the comedian is making sure that the cameras are rolling while he cleans up his act. Dick is supposedly going to air his battle with straight edge living in a new reality show, Sober Living.

Dr. Drew is rumored to be on for the show, which will cage celebrities in a Beverly Hills mansion while being prodded for recovery or provoked for ratings.

Fleetwood Mac To Headline Tour

Hey Fleetwood Mac (& Stevie Nicks) fans! Pay attention! The band Fleetwood Mac is gearing up for a tour in early 2009 that will likely be followed by a new band album, says Billboard.com. This is big news, they could have a major tour on their hands!

Band member Lindsay Buckingham said, "There was no sense we had to jump right in the studio. I think maybe there was even a sense that we would make a better album if we went out and hung out together first on the road … maybe even sowing some seeds musically that would get us more prepared to go in the studio rather than just going in cold. It takes the pressure (off) from having to go in and make something cold."

X-Files Bombs!

The new X Files movie has barely made any impact at the U.S. box office! The movie took in an embarrassing $4 million on Friday.

The movie expected to only take in about $10 million for the entire weekend, that's so sad. Poor Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, I bet they are regretting making the movie now. No one cares about it!

The Dark Knight continues to devour the box office.
The film took in another $23.1 on Friday and is expected to make around $73 million this weekend.
It's being reported that The Dark Knight could beat Titanic to become the biggest grossing film of all time.

What happened to Madonna? Her face is looking a little .... tight. Hey, we understand, everyone has their bad days! But Madonna looks like she may have had an unfortunate botox/plastic surgery incident going on there.

Madge looked a complete mess as she left the Kaballah Center in NYC on Friday night with her daughter. With all the speculation about her marriage and a possible affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, I guess we can't blame her!

Brangelina's Home Broken Into

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's French villa was broken into by none other then those pesky paparazzi. And these photographers didn't do their normal bum-rushing, they went on a covert op to nab pictures of the twins.

The two photographers, decked in camouflage, were caught by the French Chateau's security team before they could snap a shot. If they had gotten the pictures wouldn't that basically insure their incarceration?

Police spokeswoman Capt. Olivia Poupot said Friday that two photographers wearing camouflage and the two guards on duty were taken into questioning after Thursday's bust up at the Pitt-Jolie estate.

Poupot said she didn't know how long the photographers had been on the premises or details of the "altercation with the guards."

"One can imagine that if you discover someone in your garden who is taking your photo then you're not necessarily going to politely show them the way out," she said.

Pitt's lawyers threatened legal action against anyone who posts pictures of the family that were taken during the break in.

The Carter's are a pretty crazy family. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has got to go bail his mom out of jail.

Nick Carter's mother was arrested yesterday, allegedly over a really nasty divorce hearing. Here's the mugshot!

Jane Carter, aka Jane Holcomb, was divorced from a guy named John Holcomb. There are still some legal odds and ends to deal with, including an allegation that she trashed the house they once shared.

After filing legal papers, Jane was supposed to appear in court and didn't. A Florida judge wants her butt in jail for not appearing and he's ordered a bench warrant. She was picked up today in Sumter County at a cemetery where the construction company she works for was doing a project. Geez. Classy. Her son is a Backstreet Boy, he's got tons of money, why is she working for a contruction company?!

Team Shanna or Team Kim?

Did reality star Kim Kardashian spend some time with former Blink 183 drummer, Travic Barker? Shanna Moakler, his ex, won't leave Kim Kardashian alone about it. Read on to hear more about the latest celebrity feud...

Shanna Moakler, who has a history of having beef with many other female celebrities, is convinced that Kardashian slept with her ex-husband, tattoo-covered Barker. These are bold accusations from Shanna Moakler. She claims that she actually read emails detailing an affair between Kardashian and Barker. Moakler also said Kardashian was fat and compared her to a donkey. OUCH!

Kardashian has reportedly said Barker isn't dark enough for her, as Kim's past of dating Nick Cannon, Ray J and now Reggie Bush does prove she has a certain type. Moakler didn't accept this as an excuse, however.

"Come on Kim, let the truth be told! You have dated numerous white guys. Your quote saying that you are not into white guys is a sham -- not a SHIM [a she and a him] like you," Shanna said to The Dirty. "How about you just be honest Kim and say, "Shanna, I'm sorry for f'n with your man!" It's that simple... then you can deal with the aftermath from Reggie, you know -- your man that you cheated on!"

Heath Ledger Bar In NYC

Before Heath Ledger's death earlier this year, the Aussie actor was a partner and investor in a bar he planned to open in Brooklyn. The reason it hasn't been opened was due to financial costs. But now..

Heath's father, Kim, stated that Ledger would have wanted the bar to move forward. So, being the executor of his estate, he allowed the release of the funds his son had previously allocated for the project. The bar is located at the corner of Lorimer Street and Bedford Avenue in Greenpoint (Brooklyn), New York.

The new venue has a nautical theme and it is going to be called Five Leaves (after "Swan cigarette papers that tell you when there are just five left in a package").

It will be opened before the end of the year.

No! Our Favorite Assistant Quits!

A member of 'Team Griffin' is gone! PerezHilton.com is revealing that Kathy Griffin's long-time assistant and My Life on the D-List co-star, Jessica Zajicek, has quit. No! We loved her, she was so cute! She was a pretty big part of the show and seemed to get along with Kathy very well. This is all very interesting to us! Peculiar - could it be just a rumor?

The split happened earlier this month. Unfortunately, her Bravo show is not currently under production, so we'll miss out on the drama on TV!

"Jessica had just had enough of Kathy," says an insider to PerezHilton. "She put up with her for several years. She couldn't take it anymore."

Brooke Hogan Posing for Playboy?

It's not a definite yes, but it's not an outright no either. Despite rumors that Brooke Hogan will be posing for Playboy, there is still not a definite answer. The New York Daily News said:

"Brooke Hogan has been approached to pose nude for the famous men’s magazine — and she didn’t say no. The “Brooke Hogan Knows Best” star, 20, could use a boost for her stagnant career. Brooke has posed for [FHM] in the past, but has never posed nude."

At least if she poses for Playboy we can right out call it porn, instead of a "singing career."

We haven't seen young actress Julia Stiles lately! Where's she been? Stiles, 27, was spotted listening to her iPod as she made her way through NYC yesterday.

The Columbia University graduate has kept a fairly low profile recently and we haven't seen her in the media too much. Atleast she gets a little peace and can actually try to walk down the street without tons of papz around her, right? She seems like she would be such a nice person in real life. No?

Ms. Stiles is involved with three upcoming projects, Gospel Hill, The Bell Jar and Cry of the Owl. She was reportedly seen at the Sylvia Plath Symposium at Smith College this past April, possibly doing research for her role in The Bell Jar.

Heather Mills' Publicist Quits On Her!

Heather Mills, the ex-wife of The Beatles’ Paul McCartney, has quite possibly the worst reputation in Hollywood right now, everyone seriously dislikes her and her selfish behavior!

Now even her publicist is calling it quits and released a statement detailing why she can't work for Mills anymore. Michele Elyzabeth, has decided to quit after representing Heather for four years. This is what she released, obtained by Extra:

“After working for Heather Mills for the past four years, I have decided to cease representing her. Since her divorce has become final, in my opinion, Heather has become an impossible person. Yesterday, we engaged in a heated argument during which she called me ’stupid.’ I reminded her that she was not ‘God’ and she answered, ‘I will never ever talk to you again’. I have been very patient in my dealings with Heather, however, I cannot take any more. I have given her substantial unpaid time and attention. I am owed money. I refuse to be subjected to her outbursts. On reflection and given the way I have been treated, I now have sympathy with much of what the British Press has reported about her.”

Dayyyy-um. Perhaps all these rumors aren't true, Heather really is horrible!

Hairspray 2?

Variety reports that New Line Cinema (a.k.a. Warner Bros.) has hired John Waters to write a sequel to “Hairspray” so the cast of last year’s hit musical can be reunited for a July 2010 release. Do we think big stars like John Travolta and now, Zac Efron will come back to do a sequel?

John Waters wrote and directed the original 1988 “Hairspray,” which was adapted into a Broadway musical that was adapted again for the screen. The New Line version of Hairspray that came out last year did really well, people loved the re-make. We wonder if a sequel would do just as well, thoughts? I'm not sure how they could adapt the screenplay to keep the storyline going... hmm.

Amy Adams Engaged!

Enchanted star Amy Adams is engaged to boyfriend of six years Darren Legallo, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Legallo, 34, proposed with a diamond by French jewelry designer Jean Dousset of Beverly Hills, according to USA Today. Adams, 33, met Legallo, an actor and artist, in acting class in 2001.

Adams has said about boyfriend in the past, "I'm really lucky because he's not competitive with me. He supports and embraces my success as mine. And he has his own goals for himself, but he never makes my success his failure."

USA Today says the couple plan to marry sometime next year.

One of our favorite celeb couples, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, tried to enjoy a romantic dinner out at Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant last night in West Hollywood.

The poor duo was swarmed by paparazzi as they tried to make their way into the restaurant. Man, that must get tiring after awhile!

As for our previous reports on how bad Jessica Biel has been looking lately, we take it back. She actually looked feminine last night. Ouch, okay, don't hate us! It's true! She's absolutely gorgeous but really hasn't been looking her best lately!

A Few Too Many...

The Hills star Lauren Conrad was spotted on her way out of Hollywood nightclub the Crown Bar and as she got in her chauffeured car.

It looked like the reality tv star had a few too many drinks at the bar. It happens to all of us, I guess!

As for the latest news that LC’s line has been dropped from Kitson boutique’s shelves, her rep says it’s no biggie as she’s still in over 500 stores including Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Planet Blue and Fred Segal.

Also, the new season of The Hills is returning in just a few weeks on MTV. It looks like there will be just as much drama this season with all the girls!

This Is Great ... 50 Cent Sues Taco Bell

50 Cent has sued Taco Bell, claiming the fast-food restaurant chain is using his name without permission in advertising that asks him to call himself 99 Cent.

The rapper says in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday that the Mexican-themed chain features him in a print ad asking him to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. His real name is Curtis Jackson.

The rapper's lawyer, Peter D. Raymond, said his client didn't learn about the letter or that he was featured in the ad campaign until he saw a news report about it. Raymond said his client is seeking $4 million in damages.

Taco Bell Corp. spokesman Rob Poetsch issued a statement saying: "We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89 or 99 Cent for one day by rapping his order at a Taco Bell, and we would have been very pleased to make the $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice."

Hercules Coming To Big Screen

Remember actor Kevin Sorbo? Remember the show, 'Hercules?' Well, they're making a movie! Don't get too excited, it's not EXACTLY the same. Not everyone is coming back, Kevin Sorbo, won't be reprising his role from the '90s show.

The movie, which will be called Hercules: The Thracian Wars, is said to stay true to the comicbook. It will be directed by Peter Berg, who also directed Hancock and will be based on the five-issue comicbook series by Steve Moore.

FBI Seize Hathaway's Personal Items

On their second raid of Raffaello Follieri's Trump Tower apartment, the FBI took personal items hoping to strengthen their case against him, the New York Daily News reports. Among the items were the princess's diaries.

Though Anne Hathaway, the Italian businessman's former girlfriend, has not been charged with anything, the FBI confiscated her personal documents, to be used in his prosecution.

Other items seized include photos of Follieri with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and John and Cindy McCain.

Also seized were documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible, and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.

Since his arrest Hathaway has severed all ties with Follieri, going as far as changing all her contacts.

“She’s changed her numbers so he can’t reach her,” a friend said. “Raffaello has been trying to call her all the time.”

Follieri, 30, has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering. He was hospitalized the first day of incarceration for an anxiety attack.

Ethan Hawke Becomes Father for Third Time

Actor Ethan Hawke's wife, Ryan Shawhughes, gave birth to the couples first child. The couple named their daughter Clementine.

Hawke and Shawhughes met while she was a nanny to Uma Thurman's, who Hawke was married to at the time, two children. The baby girl is Hawke's third child.

Selena Gomez & Nick Jonas : New Couple Alert

Here's another Jonas brother that's having good luck with the ladies. This photo, which appears in the current issue of Rolling Stone, shows Nick Jonas, 15, and his rumored new girlfriend, Selena Gomez. Ahh, young love.

Gomez is the upcoming new star of the Disney channel and tween starlet. She appears on the hit show Wizards of Waverly Place and is considered to be the next Miley Cyrus. The young actress has been acting since 2002, when she debuted on Barney and Friends. That's adorable.

Just When We Thought Things Were Getting Better...

This picture is wrong on so many levels. It's bad enough that Britney Spears can't even keep a lid on her nasty cigarette habit long enough to avoid lighting up in front of one of her young sons, Sean Preston, 2 1/2. The New York Post got this crazy picture and pasted it right on their cover today. Not only is she smoking in front of the child but she left them where he is clearly grabbing at them.

The curious youngster went to pick them up from a table ashtray at her Beverly Hills home Sunday, as his bikini-clad, part-time mother took a long drag on her Marlboro. Fortunately, Spears finally sprang into action and snatched them from him. Still, she left the child to be exposed to her unhealthy, secondhand smoke. This may completely change her parenting rights that the courts just awarded to her.

WNBA Bench-Clearing Brawl

Oh, man! This video is crazy! It's not too often you see a fight at a women's basketball game. Last night at a WNBA basketball game between the L.A. Sparks and the Detroit Shock things got seriously heated!

Kanye Redeems Himself..

Rap superstar Kanye West and MTV VJ Sway Calloway recently gave three young vets who just returned from the Iraq war the surprise of their lives!

Kanye and Sway dropped in at the homes of the vets to listen to the soldiers' stories and express gratitude for their service. The pair gave each veteran money to pay off debts or tuition bills. MTV was there to capture the visits on camera. The special airs on MTV, July 28th.

Kanye said, "There are hundreds of veterans out there who are falling through the cracks. They make the ultimate sacrifices for us by laying down their lives, but it seems like a lot of them just get forgotten about. I know my music inspires and helps a lot of people, but you can always do more. I teamed up with MTV and took the opportunity to share the spotlight with these veterans and hear their stories. I went to their homes to listen and get their firsthand experiences. I wanted to hear their stories."

Kanye should absolutely be doing more work like this instead of bitching and moaning through his infamous blog. I think this is awesome what he's doing!

Welcome Baby Levi!

The newborn son of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves graces the cover of Ok! Magazine. What a cutie! Matthew had quite a lot to share with the magazine about the birth of his son, his thoughts on the delivery:

“We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”

... Now that's just awkward.

“Becoming a dad is something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. Miley Cyrus to Appear Nude in Film?

Miley Cyrus, 15, is rumored to bare it all in an upcoming movie.

The Disney star, who sparked controversy for appearing "topless" in Vanity Fair, is said to be cast in "Undiscovered Gyrl," which is based on Allison Burnett's new novel.

According to MSNBC the movie will definitely include nude scenes.

A source said: “It is still early days, but Miley is really interested in the film, which follows the story of a lovable, lost suburban girl who descends into a life of reckless partying and promiscuity. If she does get the part, you will be seeing a lot more of her than you did in the Vanity Fair photos - there would definitely be nude scenes.”

What about the fact that Cyrus is only 15? Doesn't that make her appearing nude illegal? Well, it's definitely a way to "breakout" of her Disney image.

The Jonas Brothers have a hot summer tour going on right now! Now, Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20, have hit the big time and made it to the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The young brother's look pretty badass.

Madame Tussuad's London has unveiled the new waxwork of Amy Winehouse. The tourist attraction spent £100,000 on the life size replica of the singer. The waxwork is complete with her signature beehive, her winged eye liner, red nails, the yellow dress she wore to the Brit Awards, and all of the singers many tattoos.

Winehouse's mom and dad were blown away by the likeness of the figure. We're blown away that the wax figure looks better then Winehouse her self, considering the wax figure is wearing clothes, and doesn't have a permanent cigarette stuck to her finger.

Golden Girl Passes Away

Former Golden Girl star Estelle Getty, best known for playing sarcastic, wise-cracking Sophia Petrillo, has died at the age of 84, just three days shy of her 85th birthday.

Her official website, EstelleGetty.com, also had an official announcement:

Myspace Secret Show Presents The Hold Steady

Paris Hilton & Benji Madden Party Hard

On Saturday night, our favorite socialite Paris Hilton and her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden were out to celebrate at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for the grand opening of Wasted Space.

The pair took some time to pose for photographers upon arrival before making their way inside and partying it up with fellow attendees.

Paris has still been filming for her BFF reality show. A friend close to the PCM staff recently saw Paris being followed by cameras through LAX airport at the beginning of July.

"The show is going to be about her searching for a new best friend," a source tells Usmagazine.com. "Paris is tired of the haters and she's looking for someone new. She's looking for someone new and cool who she can trust."

Her show, expected to be picked up by either MTV or VH1 – will be her second foray in reality television. Remember The Simple Life with her friend Nicole Richie?

The new show is "going to be full of good chick drama and you will see a side of Paris not seen on Simple Life," the source tells Us.

Halle Berry & Baby - First Photos Released!

Actress Halle Berry seemed to not be able to keep her new baby daughter hidden for two long. We'll give her credit though, it's been a few months. Her daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry was born on March 16th. Berry and her 32-year-old model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry welcomed the baby together this past spring.

Berry had opted against selling off pictures of her baby daughter to the highest bidder and didn't want to feature her on the front page of a magazine. But at last, the very first photos of Berry with Nahla have been released!

The 41-year-old actress was seen carrying her little girl around in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 17) with her mother, Judith Ann, nearby to help out with her granddaughter.

'The View' host Sherri Shepherd covers the latest issue of 'Precious Times' magazine. Seriously, the women on the View just get crazier and crazier. This is a really revealing look into the life of Sheperd.

In an eight-page feature story in the Christian women's lifestyle publication, the 41-year-old comedienne shares candid revelations about her faith, including her conversion from being a Jehovah's Witness to Christianity.

"Before I converted to Christianity, I was a Jehovah's Witness. In 1993, my mother was dying from diabetic complications. My sister was heavy into drugs, and we would have to go and get her from crack houses. I was in a very physically abusive relationship. I was sleeping with a lot of guys and had more abortions than I would like to count. I had very low self-esteem and just wanted to die. I felt if someone killed me, it wouldn't even make a difference. But God showed me that it would make a difference," she told the publication.

Geez, this is really deep stuff! Who knew that this was the past life of the current host?

Celebrity Insurance Policies

If you're going to cut off one of Heidi Klum's legs I suggest you go for the right. That's because in her $2.2 million insurance policy that covers her legs, the right is insured for $1.2 million and the left, due to a scar, only for $1 million.

Heidi's insurance policy may sound a bit outrageous, but more and more celebrities have policies that cover their trademark features.

J. Lo. takes the cake. It's been rumored the singer/actress has a $600 million policy covering her. Her policy is said to protect her booty for $400 million and her breasts for $200 million.

Celebrities insuring their... features is not something new. Marlane Dietrich had her voice insured for a meager million, the same amount Betty Garble insured her legs for - coining the phrase "million dollar legs." Fred Astaire had a slightly smaller policy: only $75,000 per leg.

Body parts seem to have the most policies, with legs coming in the lead, but there are the exceptions. Dolly Parton has her 42-inch breasts insured for $600,000.

There are insurance policies less inspired by vanity. Many celebrities have practical insurance policies that cover their money makers. Liberace had and Keith Richards still has insurance policies on their hands.

Like Bruce Springsteen's voice? Well you'll be glad to know that it's covered for $6 million. And Rod Stewart would cash in on his policy should his scratchy voice ever become clear.

There are some strange policies out there too. British food critic Egon Ronay insured his taste buds for $400,000 and cricket player Merv Hughes took out a £200,000 policy on his mustache.

Batman Arrested in London

Christian Bale was arrested in today in connection with assault charges brought against him by his mother and sister.



According to the police report the incident occurred inside his hotel on Sunday, where the actor's mother and sister say he assaulted them.

Bale was brought in for questioning Tuesday because the police did not want to interfere with his Monday movie premiere.

Christian Bale is denying assault allegations made against him by his mother and sister. His attorneys released a statement on Tuesday that reads:

“Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”

Update:
The reported assault occurred when Bale yelled at his mother and sister for insulting his wife. The assault was purely verbal.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone. Instead, he flew off the handle and cussed his mother. He just got very loud because his mother was saying some very outrageous things about him, and his wife.

“Christian’s attitude is that this was his mother’s fault because she became very provocative in an argument they were having. Things got out of control and he now says he wishes he just left the room.

“Normally Christian would just call a friend and go out to cool off. But he was literally trapped into this confrontation with his mother and sister because there was an army of fans and paparazzi outside.”

Leno's Last Night Set

Starting next June Conan O'Brien will take over "Tonight" hosting duties for Jay Leno; Leno's fate remains unknown.

Leno's last show will be Friday, May 29, and O'Brien will start on Monday, June 1, NBC executives said.

NBC is trying to keep Leno with the network, but the soon to be deposed host has indicated he is ready to jump ship. NBC competitors, including other major networks, may be the ones throwing Leno the life preserver.

Jimmy Fallon will be taking over "Late Night" for O'Brien in March or April of 2009.

O'Brien will wrap up filming of his show sometime in the first quarter of the year - the exact date has yet to be determined. The network will air reruns until Fallon takes over.

Sarah Jessica Parker's TV Show, the art version of Project Runway, has found a home on Bravo. Aspiring artists will compete in all areas of art (painting, sculpting, etc.) which will be judged by a panel of judges.

No news yet as for when the reality show will air.

An Eminem Comeback In The Works ??

Could the old king of rap be ready to make his comeback? It's been awhile since we've heard from Eminem. He announced his music "retirement," and has been very quiet lately. He's definitely been MIA lately.

Never fear - rumors are beginning to swirl around on the Internet. Slim Shady may be starting to record his first album since 2004. Has it been that long?

A protege of Slim Shady's, Bishop Lamont, says that Em is excited to be working on the project. And added that
he's apparently "got a lot to get off his chest." I can imagine, think of all the crazy celeb drama that's been going on that Em hasn't been around to make fun of.

Could this mean that Eminem is really going to make a comeback?

Bishop Lamont also stated that Eminem was "emotionally devastated" following the killing of his friend and rapper Proof back in 2006, who was formerly of the group, D-12. He is now channeling his feelings into his music. We can't wait for this, we hope the rumors are true!

Danica Patrick's Race Car Catfight

Female race car driver Danica Patrick got into a heated exchange with another racecar driver at a race on Saturday. The fireworks began after a lap at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

After getting out of her car, Patrick quickly walked to where Milka Duno, the only other woman racing over the weekend, was pitted and confronted the less experienced driver about getting in her way several times during the practice.

The confrontation lasted only about a minute, but witnesses said it grew heated and that Duno flung a towel in Patrick's direction at one point as the two exchanged words. Patrick eventually walked away.



On a video shot by a friend of Duno's and shown to The Star, Duno told Patrick on several occasions to "go away." When Patrick didn't leave immediately, Duno threw a towel in Patrick's direction, prompting Patrick to direct foul language at Duno before the minute-long incident ended.

"She came to my team and our pit box in a very bad way with bad words," Duno said. "If you come in a nice way, perfect, we can talk. If you come in a bad way, you are going to find my bad side." It looked to us that Duno was the one that was out of control from the videotape. She seemed to be flying off the handle a bit more than Patrick.

Patrick said she didn't regret her action.

"I wanted to know if she saw me (on the track) . . . It's hard to locate people once they get away from their car," she said. "I stayed behind the wall. I just wanted to ask what happened. "Unfortunately, things involving me tend to evolve. I'm on the hot seat when I do something and when others do something (connected to me). It's kind of the line that I walk because I'm popular."


Hey now, let's not get cocky, Danica! This ain't high school.

Court Throws Out Jackson Nip Slip

A Philadelphia appeals court threw out the $550,000 indecency fine levied on CBS in connection with Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" at the 2004 Super Bowl.

Judges said in the court ruling that Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are "independent contractors" and CBS cannot be held accountable for their actions.

The fine was levied by the Federal Communications Commission after one of Jackson's breasts was exposed briefly during a performance with Timberlake during halftime of the Super Bowl.

The judges also said it was impossible to determine how many complaints CBS received after the incident.

The FCC claimed the network received more than 542,000 complaints - an "unprecedented" number. CBS disputed that number, claiming that 85 percent of that number came from organized interest groups.

"The record is unclear on the actual number of complaints received from unorganized, individual viewers," the ruling said. "The FCC cannot impose liability on CBS for the acts of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, independent contractors hired for the limited purposes of the halftime show."

Amy Winehouse's Husband Gets 27 Months

We love the British! Posh and Becks. Katie "Jordan" Price. Chris Martin. The list can go on...

However, we are totally not feeling these Brits. Wino and her dirtbag husband are back to their trashy ways again. A judge on Monday sentenced Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, to 27 months in jail for assault and obstructing justice.

Fielder-Civil has admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him $400,000 to keep quiet about it. He recieved a 27-month jail sentence. A judge said his behavior was "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful."

Winehouse wasn't in court. The 24-year-old singer and Fielder-Civil, 26, married in Miami in May 2007.

DMX Arrested... Yet Again

These days rapper DMX doesn't need a publicist. As long as he maintains his weekly arrest record, he's sure to stay on the radar. Well he's at it again and this time it's for a diagnose and dash.

The rapper was arrested at a Phoenix mall on Sunday on felony charges of identity theft, when he allegedly gave a false name and Social Security number to avoid paying a $7,500 hospital bill in April.

Police say DMX, real name Earl Simmons, checked into a hospital in April using the name "Troy Jones." He was arrested outside Phoenix's Metrocenter mall while hanging out with a group of friends.

Police, who have been investigating the charges for months, say they ran the rapper's real name, found the warrant and arrested him on the spot.

This is the rappers fifth arrest in the past three months. A bond has yet to be set.
