Ciara In Virtual Concert- Saturday, May 2nd

Today the JIVE Label Group and Planet Cazmo, (www.planetcazmo.com), a virtual world for ‘tweens and teens, announced a May 2nd Virtual Concert featuring multi-platinum artist Ciara. The virtual concert will help to promote Ciara’s new album, “Fantasy Ride,” which debuts May 5th. This concert is the most recent event in Planet Cazmo’s Virtual Concert Series, which started in November 2008. Planet Cazmo is the only virtual world with an on-going virtual concert schedule.
The concert will begin at 12 PM EST on Saturday, May 2nd, and will be re-played each hour on the hour until 9PM EST that evening. The concerts will take place inside Planet Cazmo’s virtual concert arena, the “Cazmorena”. The celebrity musicians appear as animated characters with high-quality music from their recent releases and exclusive voice over from the artists. Ciara will also be built her own virtual room on Cazmo, where her fans will have a place to gather around the clock.

Tramp Stamp Barbie

Quick before no one notices... Our favorite has been girls toy Barbie has been given tattoos. Mattel tried this once before but now they think the public is ready for it.

What is particularly funny about this effort is the tramp stamp they put on her. Barbie's most controversial one reads simply, "Ken". I'm sure kids won't realize an ownership tattoo when they see it.

Personally Mattel's move makes me yawn. They'll get a mention on the six o'clock news. And it is certain that some publications will lead with "Parents are Furious over Barbie" headlines (this is what Mattel wants). The reality is Barbie/Mattel is just looking to bump sales and no one really cares. For those parents that are upset, the answer is simple. You don't let your kids watch MTV if you don't like the channel, you don't let your kids play the violent video game, and you don't buy them this specific Barbie. It's not rocket science. Looks like someone forgot that rule with the little girl above.

"Addicted To Plastic" Premieres Tonight on The Sundance Channel!

Bea Arthur Passes Away

TV legend Bea Arthur was known for her husky voice on The Golden Girls. She died Saturday at her Los Angeles home from cancer at the age of 86.

Arthur, born Bernice Frankel in New York on May 13, 1922, started out in theater in the 1940s and was a nightclub singer before beginning her career in television, which netted her 11 Emmy nominations, including a win in 1977 for "Maude" and another in 1988 for "The Golden Girls."

Casey Aldridge's Car Accident

Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie, was hospitalized in Jackson, Mississippi after a car crash early Sunday morning. We're hearing he was coming back from a fishing trip BUT ALSO more specifically, that he was coming back from going crabbing after a bachelor party.

Reports say he may not have been completely sober after deciding to leave the bachelor party to go catch some crabs. The truck he was driving crashed and flipped on a Louisiana highway, ejecting Aldridge and two of his four passengers.

Perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to say he was drunk driving. Aldridge, 19, was charged with a misdemeanor count of careless operation of a motor vehicle. Police reportedly had to wait more than four hours after the crash to speak to him, due to his hospitalization, but a trooper told E! that they had no reason to suspect that alcohol was a factor in the accident.

An unidentified family member said he suffered mild brain trauma and a "skull fracture around his hairline" that will require several days of hospitalization in the intensive-care unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he has been transferred.

Desmond From ABC's 'Lost' In Trouble

We don't like what we're hearing with this story. Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond on the hit series Lost, is being sued for sexual harassment by an ABC crew member who alleges the actor groped her, kissed her and made inappropriate sounds and gestures around her on the set in October 2007. E! News reports:

"On Oct. 28, 2007, Stone was informed that she had been fired, the lawsuit states. Per the suit, "plaintiff suffered humiliation and severe mental and emotional distress, and suffered injury when by means of her stress Plaintiff miscarried," causing Stone to incur various medical expenses and suffer 'physical injuries, physical sickness, substantial losses in earnings" and other indignities."

We love Desmond on the show, he is one of our favorite characters but this claim made against the actor is certainly not cool! Thoughts? Do you think it's true?

'Slumdog Millionaire' Real-Life Couple News!

We'd heard rumors that Slumdog Millionaire stars Freida Pinto, 24, and Dev Patel, 19, were a couple. The pair were spotted having lunch together in Israel recently. Now, they have just been outed and confirmed as a couple by Dev’s mother, Anita Patel.

She told the UK’s Daily Mirror, “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place. Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

We love it! They are a great couple in the movie so we think they're a pretty cute one outside movie land, too! What do you think of the two upcoming stars?

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester's Debut Album To Be Released On Universal Republic Records

Sycophant Nadya Suleman WAS a stripper

Our favorite narcissist and sycophant Nadya Suleman is the liar everyone suspected her to be. In Touch magazine did some investigative reporting and legwork proved in their interviews with other strippers that Nadya stripped (1999-2000) not for just the 'embarrassed to have worked one night' as she has repeatedly asserted. So much for "never having even kissed a boy." Nadya's done much more. It's reported that Nadya stripped for a year solid using the stage name: Angelina. That is 364 more days than Nadya claimed she worked as a dancer. No irony there considering she has also denied a fixation with the actress Angelina Jolie. Denial is Nadya's number one playing card.

Nadya has sold herself as a saint in the face of her narcissism, claiming she is ...well anything but what the world has seen her as. Suleman has made herself out as a victim, modest mother, down-to-earth, protective of her children, has a back injury (has received over $150,000.00 in disability from state of California), and just wants the cameras and attention to go away so she can raise her children peacefully.

However she has tattoos, used the welfare system and of course gamed the system to produce 8 children in her last litter alone, and of course has her own reality show in the works already recording and hamming it up for her own cameras. You have to wonder then why she would fire her Angels in Waiting nanny service right around the time she attempted to sell her life as a reality show to The Learning Channel. Now she has hired her own nannies but has been turned down by TLC for her reality show. So far some societal justice is served. In fact not only has TLC passed her up, UK production company Eyeworks has also recently passed on her.

Suleman has made herself the laughing stock of the nation, oblivious in her bubble. Seems she can forget her past but others have not. Fellow past strippers report that Suleman did use the stage name Angelina in her hopes to look just like her. Next should come the proof her plastic surgery was a 'vain' attempt to look like Angelina Jolie. Her personal letters that 'creeped out' Angelina Jolie are no help in her denials either.

The strippers that did recall Nadya were clear on their memory of her. Say's Sage (stagename) "I met her at an amateur contest, and we wound up doing parties together".

Backing up to Nadya's claim she was shamed to have worked as a stripper, even a limo driver (Luis Ceballos) recalls Nadya during her stripper days stating that Nadya "was full of herself", going onto say, “She was overly flirty with the guys we performed for.”

Suleman boasted to fellow strippers how she was consumed with being famous. It appears she wasn't lying about being 'consumed' with that goal. What a disgusting way to accomplish that goal. So far the only thing she hasn't sold her soul for is the offer by Vivid Entertainment to star in a porn video. Personally I think they just didn't offer her enough money, clearly she has a price. We are not out of the woods yet people. Nadya's publicist (yes she has one of those too--now) states she is in talks with as many as four more production companies.

Last week, One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray, 27, was in Las Vegas at the 2009 Miss USA Pageant at Planet Hollywood. Hmm.. so why was the actor there? Does he have a weird fetish for the pageant world?

We put two-and-two together. Murray is currently engaged to the younger sister (Kenzie Dalton) of Miss North Carolina (Kristen Dalton). He was there to support his finanee's sister and by night’s end, Kristen was crowned Miss USA 2009! Looks like Chad Michael Murray is going to now be the brother-in-law of Miss USA 2009!

Major Ouch! Britney's Hair Comes Out!

No, no, it's not what you think. She didn't shave her head again. At Britney Spears' Oakland, California concert on Wednesday night, some of her hair extensions were ripped out in the middle of one of her songs. Check out the video here. OUCH! Either she needs to hire a new hairstylist to make sure those things stay in better or a big clump of hair was probably taken out with them and that calls for a major, "OUCH!"

So what exactly happened? It basically looks like she was lifted from a couch during a trapeze stunt and her hair may have gotten caught on something. Britney has had a few 'oops moments' at her concerts but they've mostly included the star yelling out weird obscenities or phrases to the crowd.

MTV Brings The Trials And Tribulations Of Steve-O To Life In "Steve-O: Demise And Rise"!

MTV continues to experiment and break the mold in documentary filmmaking with the release of “Steve-O: Demise and Rise,” a self-documented look inside the mind of a man struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. This explosive special gives a raw, intimate first-hand account of Steve-O’s downward spiral to when he ultimately hits rock bottom and is saved by the intervention of friends and his own will to do whatever it takes to get – and stay – sober. “Steve-O: Demise and Rise” airs on Sunday, May 3rd at 10pm ET/PT.

Since his intervention, it hasn’t been without hurdles that Steve-O has tried to stay clean, sober and focused on making amends to those closest to him hurt by his addiction -- his family and friends. Steve-O’s journey has taken him through highs and lows, and this documentary follows them all, right up until his first performance this year on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Now faced with the daily challenge of living a clean life while still being the Steve-O that everyone loves, he wants it to be known that he is not the poster child for drug addiction or recovery but wants to show how truly difficult it is to stay sober every day.

Did Perez Hilton Discriminate?

Discrimination sucks. Older people shouldn't be overlooked for a job to go with a younger applicant. Women shouldn't face a glass ceiling. Men shouldn't be discounted excellent single parents, the list goes on. But when it comes to a beauty pageant, are all bets off?

Take for instance Perez Hilton's damning decision to fail Carrie Prejean (Ms California) in the final round of the Miss USA contest. He asked her a loaded question, one which he had a serious bias in, and she was given a zero on her answer for answering it against his belief system. What was it? He asked her if she agreed with same sex marriage. Perez is openly gay and human nature tells you any question against his choice of living was bound to hurt her. It is less than ironic that he chose to ask only her the question based on her open Christian values. So the landmine was set and she answered according to her values and convictions.

The question is now, do you penalize someone for disagreeing with you, or do you give them points for standing up for their beliefs? After all, Perez stood up for his. Perez commented after the event, "She lost it because of that question. She was definitely the front-runner before that."

Now this is a beauty contest. One that at one time was based on paleolithic underpinnings. A 'guy thing'. Over time it's become a politically correct wash. The word beauty is dropped and de-emphasized. What are we judging these ladies on now? What standards are really in play? Isn't the point of the pageant (remnant description of the event) to use your own personal discrimination? Or is it to judge based on looks, talent (use that term losely) and smarts? You can go so many directions with this. The funny thing is no one ever cares about these contests until somone finds something offensive to stand on a soap box and complain about.

This question is going to be played out for some time now. This explosion is in a soft state. It should erupt and grow due to what appears as 'discrimination' to many legal analysts. Perez would be wise to how much he reflects on this situation as he is a celebrity blogger that is now becoming the news instead of one reporting on it. I mean to say, 'everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.' Mark my words, this is only the beginning. Legally this Miss USA dust up will go no-where, but our society is now beginning to examine the issue of gay marriage in a way that draws every one of us into it like it or not. For now... the question remains, did Perez Hilton discriminate?

Nicole Scherzinger (The Pussycat Dolls): We just have really dope people and she’s got dope people, and they thought it was a really genius idea to put us together. It’s like the biggest tour this year. It’s so awesome for us to be able to have the opportunity to be here on tour with Britney.

PR.com: Tell me about The Pussycat Dolls on tour. What can fans expect during shows?
Nicole Scherzinger (The Pussycat Dolls): The Pussycat Dolls on stage are pretty fierce! We’re a full live show. We’re working and you got to get up and work. We’re all about connecting with the audience and having a good time. It’s crazy, live singing and crazy, live dancing full out, full throttle and a lot of stamina and energy. It’s very interactive and undeniable. We make you get up on your feet. In the end, I don’t care who you are, hopefully we’ve won you over (laughs).

PR.com: I heard that you said you’d be afraid to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off.
Nicole Scherzinger (The Pussycat Dolls): I was doing an interview the other day and they were like, “Would you challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off?” And I was like, “No! I’m not going to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off!” And then I read everywhere saying I’m afraid to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off. I’m a cool chick, man. I’m not going to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off. I’m on tour with her! We can dance together (laughs).

Portugal. The Man Make TV Debut On "The Daily Habit"

Indie rockers Portugal. The Man will make their television performance debut this Wednesday, April 22 on Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit." Portugal. The Man will perform "People Say," the lead-off track from their brand new album, The Satanic Satanist, due out July 21, and "1989," from 2008's CD, Censored Colors.

Over the course of its three albums, Portugal. The Man has received stellar critical acclaim, including indie-rock bible Alternative Press hailing "Censored Colors" as one of 2008's "10 Essential Albums," and naming P.TM John Baldwin Gourley the "Best Vocalist of 2008."

"The Daily Habit" will air P.TM's episode on Wednesday at 9:00PM ET (6:00PM PT), and will re-air later in the evening at 12:00AM ET (9:00PM PT), and then again on Thursday, April 23 at 2:30PM ET (11:30AM PT) and 5:30PM ET (2:30PM PT). Fuel TV is part of Fox Cable Networks, and seen in more than 26-million U.S. homes.

Portugal. The Man will tour extensively in support of The Satanic Satanist, with dates to include the band's first-ever major festival appearances - Bonnaroo on June 11, Lollapalooza in early August, and San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival on August 28. Currently, the band is breaking in their new show with dates in their native Alaska; a full Spring/Summer itinerary will be announced shortly.

PCM's Kristyn puts the iPhone Jeopardy App to the test!

I recently had the opportunity to review the Jeopardy app for the Apple iPhone and I have to say that I am definitely impressed. You can tell that a lot of time and energy went into to developing the game show application that was as realistic to the the actual television show as possible. I had multiple heads turn my way when the classic Jeopardy theme song began blaring out of my phone, mind you this is before I figured out how to control the sound settings....lol!

Actual game play for this app runs quite similar to the actual show, right down to allowing players to scrawl their own names on the board, and wager enormorous sums of money on a hunch. There were tons of categories and unique questions and in the several times that I have played I have yet to recieve the same category or question. I am just glad that they offer mulitple choice for answers, or else I would have been out quite a few times! This app is definitely recommended for longtime fans of the classic gameshow, and anyone who enjoys a fun trivia challenge!

Glad I had the opportunity to check it out and look forward to reviewing more cool apps for the iPhone in the future!

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer Actress Releases Book Trilogy

Amber Benson, who earned a large following for her popular role as Tara Maclay (Alyson Hannigan's love interest) on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Amber has established a very successful career outside the show: She's co-written comics, novels and an animated web-series for the BBC with Christopher Golden (widely acclaimed author of the Hellboy novels) and written, produced and directed three feature films, including Drones, to be released later this year. Now she's launched a very cool trilogy of fantasy novels geared towards young adult females. The first book, Death's Daughter, was just released via Penguin Books.

Death's Daughter tells the story of Calliope Reaper-Jones, a girl torn between an immortal life helping her father run Death, Inc., and a normal human existence. When Callie chooses to leave the family business behind and pursue a career in fashion, she finds herself in a dead end job, relegated to a life of perpetual stasis. That is, until someone kidnaps her father, the CEO of Death, Inc., as well as Callie's older sister Thalia. Now it's up to Callie to find her father and sister, while trying to keep the business running smoothly. If she fails, Callie dooms her family to morality and allows the Devil to choose the new head of Death, Inc.

Of the book, Benson says, "Death's Daughter is my take on the classic Hero's Journey, but told from the female perspective. I tried to create a flawed, female protagonist who--even though she makes some really selfish choices during the course of the book--still makes the reader root for her to learn and grow from her experiences."

'Slumdog Millionaire' Child Actor For Sale

This story has been everywhere lately because of its shocking nature. Rubina Ali, a child actress that starred in Slumdog Millionaire as a young version of Latikia, is reportedly for sale. The nine-year old's father, Rafiq Qureshi, told Great's Britain's News of the World that he listed his daughter for $300,000, a figure he increased after initially asking for just $75,000.

"I have to consider what's best for me, my family and Rubina's future," said Rubina's dad, who claims to be broke. Does that mean selling her is a good idea?

According to News of the World, Rubina's uncle confirmed the family upped the asking price following the success of Slumdog Millionaire. Shockingly, he said, "The child is special now. This is an Oscar child!" What are your thoughts on this disturbing story?

PCM RECOMMENDED READING: Fifteen years after Kurt Cobain's suicide on April 5th, 1994, comes the authoritative story of grunge. 'Grunge is Dead: The Oral History of Seattle Rock Music' (released April 1, 2009, via ECW Press) by Greg Prato is the definitive story of the Pacific Northwest music scene of the late '80s and early '90s. Never before has a book attempted to examine the scene as a whole. Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament says, "Finally, a book about the early years of our little scene in Seattle. What Do You Think About Miss California?

It all started when gossip blogger Perez Hilton was chosen to ask Miss California Carrie Prejean a question, and proceeded to inquire about her views on same-sex marriage. She answered that it was "great" that the option is available in some states, but that "in my country and in my family, I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman -- no offense to anyone out there." In her country? Don't we all live in The United States?





Hilton has proceeded to go on a media blitz attacking her and she's all over the Internet. Gay rights activist groups have spoken out against her as well. NOTE: Miss California didn't win the competition. Miss North Carolina actually won the crown! Did you know that? Poor gal, the media isn't bothering to really discuss her!

The beauty queen also went on Billy Bush's radio show on Monday, saying she believes her comment on gay marriage "cost me my crown," but she "wouldn't have had it any other way. I said what I feel."

What are your thoughts on this controversy? It seems people are split about her answer depending on their stance about the issue of gay marriage. Miss California was both booed and cheered for her answer.

Foo Fighters Singer Welcomes Baby Girl!

Dave and Jordyn Grohl have welcomed the newest addition to their happy and healthy family: second daughter Harper Willow Grohl was born in the afternoon of April 17. Violet Grohl's newly arrived little sister (named after Dave's great uncle Harper Bonebrake. Yes, Bonebrake.) is according to her dad "7 lbs 8 oz, 20 inches long and loud as hell." Congratulations to the family - we are definitely feeling that baby name!

Amy Winehouse Plans to Adopt

You have to pass a test to drive a car but anyone can be a parent. Famous lines from an obscure film, but it brings to light the seriousness of how badly our world operates today.

World famous drug addict and poster girl for self-destruction Amy Winehouse has announced through sources she wants to adopt a child. Is your reaction the same as mine? What is this world coming to? Here is what sources say: "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background."

If you've been keeping up with Amy's life, you'll know she's been spending a lot of time on the lush Caribbean island of St. Lucia. It's not as third world as Barbados but there is great disdain for foreigners there other than to take our money. Yet somehow Amy has endeared herself to the culture there and Amy's own spokesman says, "Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project."

So does this mean mother, or caregiver? Sources goes on to say, "She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St. Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt."

The reality is you can't take care of others until you learn how to take care of yourself.

Two of USA Networks Hottest Shows Law & Order: Criminal Intent and In Plain Sight premiere Sunday, April 19th!

USA Network will be airing 16 all new episodes for season eight of LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT produced by Wolf Films and Universal Cable Productions. Premiere Episode Review:

After much delay the new season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent is here! Detectives Eames and Goren start the new season off with a case involving corrupt politics, with a certain surprise twist. While there is a new case to solve each week and the storyline continues to move forward I can not help but feel that the show, or perhaps rather the relationship between the characters of Goren and Eames has grown a bit stale over the course of seven seasons. What is great for this season is Jeff Goldblum, who brings his own dynamic personality to his character of detective Zach Nichols, and may just give this show the breath of fresh air it truly needs to survive amidst some of the strong crime dramas on network TV these days. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the season will continue to build up steam, and I am hoping that some of the spark will return to the characters of Goren and Eames to keep things interesting!

Premiere Episode Review:

I can definitely say that I am big fan of In Plain Sight, and the premiere episode jumps right in and captures the audiences attention from start to finish. When last season left off, Mary had managed to escape her captors, and with the ingenious help of Raph, keep her little sister Brandi out of any serious legal troubles. This season starts off with Mary jumping right back into work, however I am not truly certain that she has dealt with all the mental consequences of going through an ordeal such as hers, it appears she may be suffering from a form of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and we may see a side of Mary's character that is not as strong as she appears. The same snarky humor and creative witness situations are in place and those are some of the factors that made audiences fall in love with this show in the first place. If the premiere is any indication, we are looking to see a strong season from this show and I truly believe it will be around for many more seasons to come! Set your Tivo's, this is one not to miss!

Katie Holmes Nightmare Begins

I would love to see what the pre-nup between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise looks like, because were it not for his empire of Scientology lawyers, she would soon be scooping up her daughter Suri and running for the hills.

News is that Suri is about to begin her schooling at age three. School at age three? That's no so bad you say. OK... let me rephrase it. School of Scientology. Yes, the very one based on the oddball science-fiction writer L Ron Hubbard. Read one of his books and you'll understand; that is if you can get through one.

Suri is to begin a five day a week regimen at New Village Academy in L.A.. It opened last year with the help of Tom Cruise's good friend Wil Smith. You have to wonder why such talented actors can be duped into this scam. Which in itself is OK, a fool and his money are soon parted. But when it affects innocent people like a young child being brainwashed... you just come to realize how anything in this world is possible. So begins Suri's end. So begins the nightmare for Katie Holmes where she can't raise a family or be a mother. She can only stand by while others indoctrinate her child into a belief system established by a failed writer who created a religious pyramid scheme we should all be envious of.

Suri's life is pre-planned. Add her schooling to her already ordained eating habits of low-carb, low-sodium, low-sugar organic diet. Honestly, I think that is a great, but if a religion is based on science, where the hell is the religion? So ends the life of Suri. She had three good years. I wonder if Katie had any? You'd think the only choice Katie has is to walk out, leave the child and start again. Because if she wants out now with the child, her life from here forward will be a nightmare.

Tiki Barber "Runs for the Wild!"

We recently got a cool video in featuring Tiki Barber, former New York Giant and Today show correspondent, “interviewing” a “tortoise and a hare!" Former NFL football running back, author, entrepreneur, and correspondent Tiki Barber has taken on a new gig for the “Wildlife Conservation Society Sports Center.” The video is to highlight the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Run for the Wild, scheduled for Saturday, April 25. The run is part of the on-going Earth Month Party for the Planet celebration at the Bronx Zoo. On race day at the Bronx Zoo, Saturday, April 25, Barber will be among those running. Dave Matthews Band Release Free Download Of New Single

Through a “tweet” on Twitter.com DAVE MATTHEWS BAND have announced that they are giving away their new single, “Funny the Way It Is,” as a free download for one week. Dave (@davejmatthews) and bassist Stefan Lessard (@slessard) are both very active on Twitter, keeping touch with their huge fanbase and decided it was the perfect place to get the word out. The song comes off their upcoming album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, which hits stores on June 2^nd. It will be the band's first studio album since the death of saxophonist LeRoi Moore last summer. The "GrooGrux King" in the album title refers to Moore’s nickname within the group. Matthews created all of the artwork for Big Whiskey, including the richly detailed cover illustration that puts a GrooGrux spin on New Orleans’ traditional Mardi Gras parades while evoking the joy and the sorrow expressed in the album’s songs. Matthews has designed logos and other elements in the past, but this is the first time he has created the entire packaging for a Dave Matthews Band album.

Guitarist Tim Reynolds will play on the album, making it his first recording with DMB since 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls). Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King will also feature the recording debuts of Rashawn Ross who joined the band in 1996 but hadn’t played on any of their studio releases yet and Moore’s replacement, saxophonist Jeff Coffin who also is a member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. DMB just released a trailer for the new album which can be seen below.

Dave Matthews Band kicks off its 2009 tour tonight with a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will be on the road through October 2^nd. Chris Nolan's Batman Meets Real Super heroes

So you are in tune to the super hero hype? Down with the latest? Then you know Chris Nolan, director of the rebooted Batman franchise doesn't want Batman to have any meeting, let alone awareness of Superman's existence. This is in spite of the fact in the DC world these two characters know each other quite well.

So what is Chris's problem? Well, as he sees it, if Batman knew Superman existed, he'd have no purpose or meaning as he will understand he is not really a super hero. Chris says, "-- we didn’t address it directly in the film, but we did take the position philosophically -- that superheroes simply don’t exist. If they did, if Bruce knew of Superman or even of comic books, then that’s a completely different decision that he’s making when he puts on a costume in an attempt to become a symbol. It’s a paradox and a conundrum, but what we did is go back to the very original concept and idea of the character. In his first appearances, he invents himself as a totally original creation."

So don't expect any Marvel type endings with the next Batman installment where Wonder Woman or Green Lantern approach Bruce Wayne for a team up. In fact Christopher Nolan takes on that question directly with this quote: "I don’t think our Batman, our Gotham, lends itself to that kind of cross-fertilization. "

Domino's Employees of the Year

If you live in New York -- home of the family-owned pizzeria -- and still order from Domino's, especially after seeing this, you deserve to get bird flu. Seriously.

Kristy and Michael shot an entire mini-series of themselves doing nasty gross stuff to the food at Domino's. These two Einsteins then uploaded all the videos to YouTube yesterday.

They really wasted their genius by working at Domino's.

The videos were later taken off of YouTube, but GoodAsYou managed to snag all of them including one of Michael wiping his buttcrack with a sponge and then using it to clean a pan.

Have you always wondered why the pizza from Domino's tasted like greasy buttcrack? Well, now you have your answer.

Apparently, corporate found out about the videos, contacted the franchise in North Carolina and the two were fired. Domino's is also looking into possibly taking legal action against the two.

One of the most disturbing parts in all the videos is when Kristy confesses that she's reading sTori Telling. That explains everything, right?

The young woman -- let's give her a really CLASSY name, like Marianne (HA!) -- was closing up a Popeye's with her boyfriend when a few dudes in a Pontiac started following them.

Marianne's chicken brings all the boys to the yard!

She says they started shouting at her, "GIVE US THE CHICKEN!"

Aw. I remember in the old days when strange, creepy old men in cars would shout that at my friends and I while we were walking down the street.

Anyway, these guys wanted Marianne's Popeye's Chicken! Marianne kept on walking.

After a few minutes, the dudes sped off. Marianne and her man kept on walking home thinking they were gone, but the dudes reappeared and this time they stepped their game up. They pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot Marianne if she didn't give up the chicken!

Marianne's boyfriend begged them not to shoot her, because she's two months pregnant (said in the best Maury Povich voice: You are NOT the father!). Marianne and her boyfriend got on the floor and that's when the poultry robbers stole her chicken and her purse.

They only took her purse because they probably thought she had some biscuits in there.

The police are currently looking for the chicken thieves.

Kal Penn Takes Sabbatical from Acting to Serve Obama Administration

Kal Penn, star of House on Fox network is taking a sabbatical from acting to work for the President. Yes, the real President. To free him up from his role on the show House, the producers had his character, uncharacteristically shoot himself. And why? They couldn't have given him a little more respect?

Instead Kal will earn more respect serving the nation as Associate Director to the White House Office of Public Liason. Where Kal easily earned over 40,000.00 per episode on House, he'll be lucky if he earns more than 40,000.00 in his position at the White House. But for Kal, it's not about the money. "There's not a lot of financial reward in these jobs. But, obviously, the opportunity to serve in a capacity like this is an incredible honor."

Penn, has been silently making a name for himself as a serious actor despite his comedic roles by strangly enough becoming a political speaker. Although Penn defines himself as neither a Democrat or Republican he has solidly thrown his hat into the ring of political activism in respect to helping his own constiuents, that of the Asian-Pacific community.

It all started with one of Kal's own friends. Penn tells the story of a friend in Texas earning minimum wage at a trucking company. Back in 2004, his friend got a call from Halliburton and was offered $90,000 to drive a truck in Iraq for one year. "I remember thinking that it was really sad that in the world’s richest, most powerful country, the only two options we could offer our friend for a college education is minimum wage or 90 grand in a war zone," said Penn. "So the cynical independent side of me got even more cynical. I looked at why politics operate the way they do and how politicians operate the way they do."

Penn's job will be as a liason to the working Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities, and since he is an actor by trade he will focus on the groups related to the arts, so don't expect to see Kal at a podium near you. Kal has the background for it, despite what he may appear. Films like Harold and Kumar don't exactly underscore his education. Political Science was a favorite of his in High School and he studied international affairs at Stanford University. Kal has also taught (Images of Asian Americans in the Media) at the University of Pennyslvania.

Mariah Carey To Participate In A Special eBay Auction To Benefit The Society Of Singers

Mariah Carey is participating in an auction to benefit the Society of Singers, which benefits the health and welfare of professional singers worldwide with emergency financial assistance. They also raise money for Masters level students who are pursuing their education in the vocal arts at accredited universities and music schools across the US.

The auction closes on April 18th on the UniversalMusicStore.com. It includes a box of signed Mariah Carey Luscious Pink perfume, a signed Emancipation of Mimi CD, and a signed Adventures of Mimi DVD set.

Pineapple Express may get Sequel!

The underground hit Pineapple Express starring Seth Rogen may get a sequel according to it's star. In an interview with MTV Seth is quoted: "Of all the movies we've done, that's the only one that I would actually like to do a sequel to," he said. "And we talked about it."

If that is not cool enough news for you, James Franco whom also starred in Pineapple has let on to a combined sequel of both Superbad and Pineapple Expresss! He actually gave up that the flick would be divided by directors Greg Motolla (Superbad) and David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express). "I could sell them [the characters from 'Superbad'] something, but I think we'd want some action, so you know, somehow the kids get in trouble somehow and we have to get them out of it," How do you account for Seth playing a different character from each movie? "So somehow we'd have to kill one of them off." You could say Franco has really thought it through.

I have to say, I think Seth Rogen's quote carries more weight.

Gwen Stefani may not think that many people are old enough to remember Adam and the Ants (or the British New Wave movement, or the New Romantic movement), but I'm here to serve as a glaring reminder to that wannabe-Minnie Mouse that SOME people were weaned on Malibu Sue and WDRE.

Why the venom, folks?

No Doubt has just released a cover version of Adam and the Ants' "Stand and Deliver" (which, for the benefit of those Upper East Side, Gossip Girl obsessed snobs who wouldn't know culture if it smacked them in their reconstructed nose, literally defined Adam Ant and the entire New Romantic movement with the application of makeup at the beginning of the video), and frankly, it makes me barf. Violently.

Gwen's cartoon voice works for some of No Doubt's poppiest stuff, but it completely RUINS Adam Ant's song. Plus, the No Doubt version is MUCH slower than the original, causing it to completely lose whatever appeal it had left. Hang up the music cape, Gwen, it's time. When you're FORTY years old (with two beautiful kids), dressing up like you're 16, and doing lousy covers of 28-year-old songs (like I said, Malibu Sue used to play this song until the grooves wore off the record -- I can still sing every word, but you don't see ME recording it. Consider yourselves blessed...), it's time to call it a day.

Harry Potter's "Crabbe" Arrested

Bet he wishes he could wave a magic wand and make this go away. Police arrested Jamie Waylett, who plays Slytherin bully Crabbe in the 'Harry Potter' series, after discovering eight bags of marijuana in his car after stopping the actor due to suspicious behavior.

The police stopped Waylett in his Audi in London's Westminster. The cops then searched his mother's home and found "an alleged cannabis farm," with 10 marijuana plants worth nearly $3,000 being grown under special hydroponic lights.

AHH, looks like he's not a pure little Hogwarts student after all. This isn't his first run in with authorities. The actor was also accused of snorting cocaine in 2006.

Waylett will be seen in the next 'Potter' installment this summer -- 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.' Despite the actor's bonehead personal life problems, are you excited for the next Harry Potter movie? What will you do to celebrate its release if you're a hardcore Hogwarts fan?

Most awkward couple of the year or greatest example of opposites attracting? Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and comedian/D-list actor Jamie Kennedy stepped out as a couple for the first time at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Hewitt was a presenter at the awards show. The couple has been spotted around L.A. together but haven't officially come out and made things official to the press about their relationship. Looks like they are now!

Kennedy admitted he had assistance from his girlfriend when it came to his choice of a white suit. "She teaches me a lot," the actor said. "She's teaching me to be a sharp dresser."

"Life is good," added Hewitt. Hmm, what do we think of this Hollywood couple stepping out into the public eye? Better to keep all the romance on the down low or better to air it out and get it off their chests?

I love Hollywood. It's predictable and today's world, we need to know some things will never change. Enter Jennifer Love Hewitt. She made a name on her sexy slim body and I think -- her acting skills.

Then she plumpted up. Nice and shapely of course unless you are the ever watching gossip world that builds you up, and tears you down, then builds you up and tears you down again. It's a cycle. Of course I know some gossip writers that just tear down.

What's a girl to do? Well when my girl Jessica Simpson followed suit and became wide around the middle, Jennifer came to her rescue voicing to the press to leave poor Jessica alone. Again, let's get this straight folks. In Hollywood, when you make a name for yourself based on your beauty, you need to recognize that the vultures will pounce once it fades. Jessica was getting slammed for not just losing her sexy Daisy Duke Jessica Simpson bod, but for losing that bod in what appeared overnight.

Back to our story... Jennifer was so kind. She asked gossip writers to lay off Jessica for getting fat. Then she did this... Bam!
Go figure. Or should I say... Go figure! Welcome back to the spotlight Jennifer. Let's see how long you stay slim. The tear down will begin again. You know I said Hollywood was predictable. I should add, it's also hypocritical. Think Jessica will trot out a new look in weeks to come?

MTV and Justin Timberlake Bring Viewers "The Phone" Premiering April 21st

MTV, FremantleMedia North America and executive producer Justin Timberlake are taking viewers on a relentless, heart pounding, adrenaline ride as “The Phone” premieres on April 21st at 10pm ET/PT. Mickey Rourke Steps Into The Ring

Mickey Rourke, who earned an Oscar nomination for his work in The Wrestler, stepped into the ring again on Sunday, this time to fight professional wrestler Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25. Rourke addressed talk several weeks ago that he may get involved at "WrestleMania" in a wrestling role instead of a support role.

"My agents said it would be detrimental to my career" to take the focus off of acting after making a comeback in "The Wrestler," he told reporters. "I’m doing ’ Iron Man 2’ now, and the insurance company said under no circumstances could I get into the ring," he added.

Well, he got into the ring anyway. The actor has been involved in a public war of words with Jericho since January, when he announced his plans to spar with him at the WWE’s Wrestlemania 25 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.

The crowd was clearly entertained, giving Rourke a standing ovation as he exited the ring after knocking out Jericho. Go, Mickey!

Farrah Fawcett Hospitalized

Farrah Fawcett is currently in a Los Angeles area hospital, it has been confirmed. The 62-year old actress, battling cancer, has been hospitalized since Thursday of last week. Fawcett has been fighting rectal cancer since her diagnosis in 2006. Though she was diagnosed free of cancer, the disease has returned. Reports of Fawcett's current status have gone from good to worse. Now comes word that her cancer has reportedly spread to her liver and things aren't looking very positive.

Producer Craig Nevius has confirmed that in 2007, scans showed that Fawcett's cancer had spread. "Not only had it recurred, it metastasized to her liver," Nevius told The Associated Press on Monday. Still, Nevius urges that the 'Charlie's Angels' legend is "not on death's door."

Things with her family aren't going so well. Her son Redmond O'Neal was arrested on drug charges on Sunday morning. The 24-year-old is back behind bars after police allegedly found him carrying narcotics at a jail in Castaic, Calif. He was arrested on two felony counts—suspicion of possession of narcotics and bringing narcotics into a jail—and is being held on $25,000 bail pending a Tuesday hearing. Smart, real smart.

He Likes Me -- Doesn't He?

Times have changed. The days of Rhett Butler telling Scarlett O'Hara he didn't give a damn are long gone. That's a shame in some ways. At least it made dating simple. Nowadays, guys try to be considerate in an attempt to not hurt your feelings. His miscues make it hard to know whether he's really into you, just wants to be friends or would love for you to switch phone plans. While words might not be his strong point, his actions are. Keep an eye out for these kinds of behavior.

He actively takes an interest in you and what you have to say. He's not just nodding and smiling and checking his watch every five minutes like you're trying to sell him life insurance. There's eye contact. He's actively listening. He's asking questions, relating things you say to his own experiences. If he's really good, he'll remember something you said and incorporate it in a future date. Try not to act too surprised.
He's forthcoming. He wants you to know about him. This manifests itself in a bunch of ways.

He'll share personal details about himself. He'll even be eager to cough up basic factoids such phone numbers, his address and place of work. If he isn't giving up this kind of info, then he doesn't want you tracking him down -- or he's Batman or Superman. So if he doesn't live at Wayne Manor or the Fortress of Solitude, give it up.

He'll mark his territory. He won't pee on you or anything per se, but he will exhibit some animal behavior. If he's decided he wants you as his female, he won't want to lose you. If there's any chance that you might be snapped up by another male, he'll stake his claim.

He'll be tactile with you, slipping an arm around you, possibly posturing and standing up when another guy walks onto the scene. Watch out for some regression to a more primitive man. If you hear grunting, don't panic. It's his way of saying he likes you.

He calls you back. Despite the stereotype, he will call you back. If you're a girl in demand, he won't want you to be the one that got away, so he'll call you to set up the next date or ask how you're doing. If you're getting calls for no reason, that's a good thing. However, you may want to invest in a good phone plan.
He'll check you out. You'll bring out his spy skills in a good way.

He'll talk to your friends to get the 411 on you. He wants to know more about you -- your past, your present, your likes and dislikes, water hazards, etc. He's doing his homework because he wants to impress you. He's gathering this intelligence so he knows how best to woo you.

He's flirtatious. Guys get playful around women they like. It's a little dance he's doing around you to show his interest and his daring. However, he's not just being flirty, he's also probing. He's putting on a little show for you to see if you'll reciprocate. The more you play, the more he stays. Now shake that tail feather.

He's always planning ahead. If he digs you, he won't want you getting away from him. To make sure you aren't prey to some other guy, he'll be making plans for the next date before the current one is over. A full calendar is a good sign.

Remember Trista & Ryan Sutter?

Okay, they aren't on the top of our celeb radar however they are pretty cute so this is worth mentioning. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette star Trista Sutter and husband Ryan Sutter welcomed baby No. 2 to their family.

The couple married in 2003 after Trista chose Ryan as the winner of season one of The Bachelorette. They are also parents to a son, Maxwell Alston Sutter. Here's an example of a couple that didn't pull a crazy Bachelor Jason/Molly/Melissa love triangle on us! They seem to be going strong.

Trista and Ryan welcomed a baby girl weighing in at a healthy 6lbs, 2oz on Friday in Colorado! Drumroll for the baby name, everyone! The couple named their new daughter Blakesley Grace Sutter. Thoughts?

Alex DeSilva: Creep Of The Year!

It's a scary world out there! Alex DeSilva, 41, a former choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance, has been arrested for multiple sexual assaults.

According to Los Angeles Police Department: “The four victims in this case were all students of DeSilva at the time of the assaults. The victims alleged that he lured them to his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys. He then used a ruse to get them into his bedroom where he raped them.”

DeSilva was taken into custody in connection with four sexual assaults that occurred between May 2003 and March 2009. FOUR?! This guy deserves to be locked up for a longggg time. DeSilva is being held on $3.8 million bail. We doubt someone will come up with that kind of money to get a scumbag like him out!

Holy, moley! Imagine gunfire at your wedding reception? Tom & Gisele really know how to party. No, no, we kid! Check this story out - apparently paparazzi say they “narrowly escaped death” after being shot at while trying to get pictures of the Tom Brady-Gisele Bundchen wedding in Costa Rica on Saturday!

The supermodel's security guards apparently fired at celeb gossip photogs outside her beachside wedding to the Patriots football quarterback. We know those papz are pesky but I don't think they deserve to be shot at, right? Whatever went down, it certainly did a number on the rear window of this SUV.

Levi Johnston Opens Up To Tyra

Well, well, well. Don't tell him too many secrets, Bristol. He'll run to Tyra Banks and tell the world his sob story faster than you can say, "Caribou Barbie."

Who is the bad guy now? I was feeling sorry for poor Bristol. Levi Johnston says ex-fiancee Bristol Palin - the mother of his 4-month-old son Tripp and the daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin - is not a very happy camper.

Most times, she's usually in a pretty bad mood. She's short. She doesn't want me around, I don't think," Levi told Banks. "She says that I can come see the baby, and that kind of thing, but won't let me take him anywhere."

Ouch! We don't think that makes the Palin family too happy. Check out what they released in a retaliation statement:

Madonna's Adoption Bid Rejected

This news may make some people very happy and others sad. (Many have been criticizing authorities saying they have been giving Madonna special treatment in her latest adoption process.)

A judge in Malawi has rejected Madonna's bid to adopt a 4-year-old orphan girl from that African country. Madonna — who adopted a young boy, David Banda, from Malawi in 2006 — had spent the week in the country awaiting word from the court on her request to adopt the girl, Chifundo "Mercy" James.

According to The Associated Press, the country's High Court ruled on Friday (April 3) that the 50-year-old singer had not met the requirement that prospective adoptive parents live in the southern African nation for at least 18-24 months before the adoption process can be completed.

"I am able and willing to securely provide for Chifundo James and make her a permanent and established member of my family," Madonna said in a statement before the ruling. "To deny Chifundo James the opportunity to be adopted by me could expose her to hardship and emotional trauma which is otherwise avoidable."

'Jon & Kate Plus 8' Renewed!

TLC announced today that Jon & Kate Plus 8 will return for a fifth season. The fate of the TLC show, which follows Jon and Kate Gosselin as they raise 8-year-old twins and 4-year-old sextuplets, was left up in the air during the finale of season four.

The popular show that attracted record ratings for its March 23 finale will join a busy roster of returning programs, such as 18 Kids and Counting, A Baby Story, American Chopper, What Not to Wear, and Little People, Big World.

The Gosselin's marriage has also been a topic of media conversation lately. Jon was also spotlighted in the tabloids, showing photos of him partying with college girls at a bar. During the finale of last season, Jon Gosselin revealed he was not happy with being in the spotlight. But it looks like they're going to be back with an all new season. Suck it up, Jon, people love your family and want to see more!

Google's Sense of Humor

Since these things only last one day, I thought it would be nice to memorialize Google's April Fool's joke of 2009. It was based around Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) gone wrong. If you missed it they rolled out a fictitious service called CADIE, an acronym of course: Cognitive Autoheuristic Distributed-Intelligence Entity.

A what? Well ...in short think of it as A.I. for your tasks. One feature is/was Autopilot; the auto e-mail responder that does more than reply. I profiles the e-mail sent then replies to the e-mail message based on the content. Waves of Hal 9000 flood my senses when I think of this. That is where the joke lies. Imagine a service created by Google that goes horribly wrong. Here are two sample replies. The first one delineates the value of your relationship with the sender and provides them a report, hilarious. The second is a sample reply based on matching the style of the original message. Very funny stuff. There was much more to the CADIE spoof. But you get the idea.

And another one bites the dust...again...

Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker have broken up for the 4325879th time.

Shanna and Travis got married in 2004. Most of you stopped caring about them in 2005. Shanna filed for divorce in 2006. They tried to make it work in 2007. Their divorce became official in 2008. They got back together again in 2009. And now we're here.

A source said they broke up last night in true trailer trash fashion. They had some stupid fight about Gerard Butler and the cops had to be called. Travis accused Shanna of sleeping with Gerard while he was in the hospital after the jet crash. Last night, Shanna claims her Twitter was hacked into and the evildoer posted that vicious, horrible rumor while Travis was recovering.

(Just for the record, it's not cheating if it's with Gerard Butler. It's your duty as a human being with a pulse!)

Shanna denies she ever cheated on Travis. She also said (through her publicist), "Shanna is tired of playing out their personal relationship in the press."

(Try not to laugh...)

Of course she will handle it like a mature adult by passing notes to Travis during detention through Twitter. That's how they're currently handling it, anyway. Travis and Shanna have been posting quotes they probably got out of a fortune cookie. Example: “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”

I know, so profound.

Dane Cook April Fools Everyone On New Moon

Today Dane Cook twittered some news which smelled of April Fools... Thankfully we here at PCM didn't run with this but waited out Dane to come clean...

Early in the day we got this:

Damn excited 2 share a secret! I'm going 2 b in the new Twilight film! It's a huge role.Im thrilled 2 b playing vampire! Cool news ain't it?

Later he posted this tweet:

i said the same thing when they offered it to me tonight over dinner! The producers put vampire teeth on my salad and asked me to join!

Now to me, that was the give-away. "They put vampire teeth on my salad..." Sorry Dane. I wasn't biting. LOL

Personally I love Dane. He's your typical Hollywood can stick it but I'll take the money type guy. At the close of the day Dane gave what should be the final tweet on the matter:

I'm proud / sorry to admit I am not going be in the new Twilight film. To all the people that wrote and said "WTF DANE TWILIGHT IS CRAP" -- I know you are thrilled.
