Willy Wonka's Real-Life Golden Ticket Contest

"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is coming to life (sort of) as Nestle is launching a new line of Wonka chocolate, Wonka Exceptionals, which will feature a golden ticket contest. However, instead of winning a twisted tour of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, the winner will instead win a trip around the world worth $12,500!

Just like the story, there will be five tickets available. Each winner will be allowed three guests and will receive $12,500 to buy chocolate from all over the world, with a maximum of four consecutive destinations. Other prizes will also be available, including movie certificates, airline vouchers, Ticketmaster gift cards, and free chocolate.

Veruca Salts of the world, better get moving!

Ten grand prize winners and their three best friends get to take a trip around the world with $12,500.Perhaps Wonka is sold under a different brand name in all countries outside of England/US and are thus, ineligible for the promotion. Or maybe Wonka chocolate is only really strong in western countries and people in Asia prefer a different style of chocolate.

I am so excited for this! I will definitely be trying to win myself a golden ticket, not only because I could survive on chocolate alone, but to be among the prestigious five! It's also a great marketing and PR tool for Nestle, because I think a lot of people will want to get involved with this contest.
